Very busy and enjoyable workplace.Each day I greeted each and every customer with a smile.Provided assistance when required.Kept the entrance free and clear of obstacles.Watched for shop-lifters,notified floor walkers.Checked customer and staff receipts.Reported to floor walker or manager if there was a problem.Management was always there if assistance was required.I did not find the job hard. What I enjoyed about being a Greeter was greeting people and see them smile back at me.One thing I learned was not to judge a person by their appearance.I met so many very nice customers.What I miss about retiring too early is people.

I'd get there and immediately have alot of duties which I'd fulfill to the best of my ability.
The management treated me with the utmost respect and appreciated my contribution to the store.
The hardest part of the job was having to work as hard as I could but it was also the most enjoyable part of the job because I enjoy being kept busy.

A typical work day at Westfair Foods required proper prep work before the store opened. Organizing, keeping clean, maintaining stock and working with customers was the base concept of a Produce Clerk. Working with the product helped me learn how to cook! Working around anyone in the same space is a great experience because you get to talk to every individual learning or teaching someone how the business works.

This job provided me with a good opportunity to learn how to deal with the public and also provided me with an opportunity to learn how to get along with fellow workers who came from many different backgrounds. The work was satisfying because it was quite physical and the pay scale was very reasonable.

Long hours, usually 12 hours a day with no overtime as |I was on salary.  Some management were good, high turn over.  Hard part was working long days and missing out seeing my children.  Made some really good long life friends.

Responding with answers to customers inquiries. Quality assurance of meat and shelves maintenance.
Working towards the end of the closing shifts was harder. It was enjoyable to solve customers issues.

I HAD A VARY INTERERSTING CAREER WITH THIS COMPANY. MY MANAGEMENT AND PEOPLE SKILL PROVED ME WITH THE SUCCESS I HAD IN ALL AREAS. THE COMPANY WAS FAIR TO WORK WITH AND PROVIDED ME WITH A;LL THE TOOLS I NEEDED ALLOWING ME TO PROVIDE THE HIGH PERFOMANCE RESULTS I ACHIEVED.

it was a good place to work, very nice people to work for. a typical day would include price changing of products on the shelves, and putting out stock, cleaning, facing the department and making it look presentable to the public, helping and assisting the public when needed,

Overall experience with Westfair Foods, Loss prevention division - was rewarding and generally a good work experience.

Educational experience in workplace loss prevention systems.
New skills were learned and have become transferable.

I was with the company a short time but got to met a lot of people.  Again it was a great environment to work for.  You management a department which I was in the apparel dept.  Doing display which was fun to do. You got your job do by the end of your shift.
