Great opportunity for overtime during the busy season (spring - summer). 
Consistent work flow during the spring - early winter. I've personally enjoyed this job for the fast paced environment. 
Fun work atmosphere. 
Excellent training team, where they slowly ease you into the order entry process, while giving you tools to aid you in understanding the product.
Overall, a great place to work, and an amazing work family to spend your Monday-Friday with. 
 


Good place to work based on my experience.
On-boarding was pretty seemless. Hours are a bit early for me at 4am start but management has been really accommodating with my family obligations so give a little, take a little. 
Been offered a shift change to latter hours but not ideal for my family life so I stayed put.
Pay is quite good for the area. My starting wage was fair and the raise process is crystal clear. I know when I’ll get a raise and my manager can even tell me how to achieve what amount of a raise. 
Regular company events. Just had a paintball tournament!
Two catered lunches last month alone.
Promotions are openly posted and all can apply. 
Highly recommended employer!


Westform  can be a high paced work environment during the busy season which is usually May or June to November, with opportunity for overtime. During the winter months it is less busy and slower paced. 
They have many great bonuses such as Christmas party with gift golf tournament with dinner and a chartered sturgeon fishing derby. As well as good benefits and rrsp contribution.
Westform has a large amount of long term employees( 10 to 30 year)

Worked here for about a year now. Great place to work. Lots of changes and improvements being made. Team mates are fun to work with. 
Leadership always asks for feedback and considers suggestions. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
There wasn’t any best parts they pushed all the senior guys out. Just to hire new people and pay them less.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The 4 am start and never having a voice be heard.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
They fired all the people who created the culture there. Most of the production guys hate their job. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Boring, not challenging. Extreamly repetitive with no rewards or incentives

Family oriented (lots of Visschers and extended family work there). Most of the employees are friendly and personable. Definite small company vibe. Lots of long term employees.

Has a growth mindset, but I didn't want to wait.

Also typical for the area, but almost the entirety of the workforce is lily-white. I actually don't recall one BIPOC. All age ranges though.

Very high paced work environment during the Spring, Summer and Fall season.
Over time is available for many months of the year.
Very generous Christmas bonuses, gifts and many company payed functions.
Fair pay with RRSP matching contributions and excellent extended health benefits.


I've worked here for 1.5 years and I really like working here it's pretty simple and easy work once you've learned everything. The people here are great,  the employees I have worked with, which is most, have been super friendly and are always there to help.
The only cons i have found about this place are the night shift hours which is 12-8, sounds great in your head but it really just splits your free time right in half.

Hired me to work for a couple of months, thought I was doing well at Westform only to be told I that they didn't think I was the right fit. Wouldn't offer any criticism, even when asked what I could have done differently, what I did that resulted in this decision, or what I didn't do only to get the same response. Associates were great, but management would not tell me of anything I did wrong, and let me go for an exceptionally vague reason.

A great place to work with the perfect variation of a slow season to catch your breath and a busy season to help your days fly by.
A great team of co-workers will give you a great work culture.
