I enjoyed working at Weston Bakery.  A typical day at work was going in and focus on the job and make sure it is done proper.  I applied my knowledge from my previous work experience and applied it to this job.  My co-workers were easy to get along with and worked as a team.   The hardest part of the job was when business slowed down, I always tried to find something to keep me busy.  That is the type of person I am.  I like to keep my mind busy. The hardest part of my job was cleaning the machinery at the end of each night. The most enjoyable part of the job was having pride and doing my job well.

Long days, early starts, minimum support from head office or managers, financially rewarding, 7 day a week work, District Managers will micromanage your orders and order recklessly  without consultation, unreasonable service expectations promised to clients without consultation with their business partners. 
No paid perks with this company. You are on your own.  No paid holidays, no personal days, no pension, no benefits, strict guidelines on ordering and servicing clients.

Was a great work environment when I started. Weston soon cleared out the offices  and moved most office jobs to Etobicoke to save money. Right after that move, the bosses were  completely out of touch. Now, we're FGF/Wonderbrands.  Even farther out of touch. Favoritism is out of control, mismanagement is the key to daiky operations, and there's NO money to fix important issues. Blind leading the blind telling the deaf how to do things right.

the hardest part of the job is that as an independant contractor for the bakery, you get no time off, unless of course you want to go to the expense of finding someone who only wants to work a couple of times a year, and then training them.

If you want to work there is a lot to do. Maintenance management is abusive and ignorant. Very high turnover. MP3 is worse than useless. Enforced long hours on Mondays and Fridays doing menial time wasting jobs.

Although all loads are delivered on time, there is no difficulty in reaching customer stores on time because almost all deliveries are done at night time. you have to unload the truck by using racks with wheels and it is always busy no matter what season.

Very good company,excellent work conditions.The thing is(compare to other industry) you need to do repairs fast during production because every little breake down is going to accumulate product behind and that stuff could be not good anymore

If time of and holidays existed would be a good place union runs the place managment thinks they do not best place i ever worked at. Employees  not open minded to other cultures
