The people I worked with always helped me out taught me something and were just overall some of the greatest people I’ve met they are understanding and inclusive with lots of great advice and will answer questions when ever you have them the hardest part of the job was troubleshooting how to take certain parts off or figuring out how to build custom brackets
While I was there I had a wonderful service manager who was always there to help and a great Forman who knew a lot about everything I learned how to figure things out my self and also safer and easier ways to take down transmission drivelines etc. 
a typical day at work would be chatting with everyone you work with while doing whatever repair or maintenance a truck needed along with some fabrication for brackets or wet kits 

Like any company there are non that are perfect, however i enjoy going to work each and everyday even during the toughest of times we really have a great team in the shop and its a supportive and fun environment even on the most stressful of days. It is a really good place for people to get in a steady flow of work and learn a bunch while your at it. 

I come in to work late most times not that i care,People i work with Especially the Part pickers are Constantly making mistakes,and makes my job that much more Annoying why should i fix there mistakes,Anyway i have worked here for almost 7 years some people are nice some i don't bother with at all, 

As a mechanic in the shop it was clutches and more clutches. It’s a dark dirty job with no feeling of accomplishment. The shop has a huge turn around rate but the rest of Westrans is has less turn around and is cleaner .The management are good people but don’t let you know when your doing a good job.

Working at westrans was like a rollercoaster, sometimes it was busy as heck orders every minute and others where you'd stand around for hours. The people are relaxed and cool, but the management is a bit iffy. Occasionally you'd have to lift some heavy stuff such as clutches for trucks which is a big pain, as the machines there kind of stink.

from top to bottom, every manager position in the building is  old people who have checked out until retirement, little to no help for new young people, complaints go unheard and safety is of little concern in the warehouse and service bay, building looks cheap and unmaintained and the equipment used by employees is the same

Was given three weeks to find another job because they said they were closing the door and then they stayed open for another four months. They just employ individuals long enough to get the job done at the least amount of money.

Westrans could be one of the top companies in canada with more money invested in tools and modern training in the area of work for employees with more attractive salaries.

Training was great, wonderful team atmosphere, co-workers are very helpful. Management always available for any questions or concerns.  Co-workers always ready to help when needed. 

Friendly staff especially the dispatch department consistent hours and the dispatch department have a lunch gathering every friday  not a toxic workplace.
