Not being supported when abused by students

Very lacking, each school differs

Regular teaching day the usual subjects

I loved working with the students and staff.  The kids want and love to learn. The school I was at was excellent. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I was able to do a lot of extra activities that I was supported by. I would love to go back and work for WRPS again but due to budget cuts.

The administration at this school are very supportive. There are many social issues in this area so many of the students come from a challenging background, but they strongly desire a teacher to develop a trusting relationship with.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with the Wetaskiwin School Board. Every school was very friendly and welcoming, there were many opportunities for employment, and the office administration were always very helpful.

I wish that some of the tech that the class rooms have now, were there when I was a student in the 1970's.

The speakers in the class from, the projectors, and the fact Teachers Assistants in the class room to help with large numbered classes,

This organization likes to take advantage of the people on continuing contracts, and they like to use subs as eternal temps, without ever offering them anything other than temp positions.

The public school system in Alberta remains the best around the world.
The expectation are well defined and clear, albeit they are numerous.

Working in a school setting is very challenging at times but seeing students succeed is very rewarding. Working with a wonderful team does make the workday very enjoyable.

Working for Wetaskiwin Regional Public Schools was both challenging and rewarding. I learned many skills and was always encouraged to grow personally and professionally.

I work as A On call Special Needs Educator and General Office assistant.
I am qualified in both area.
I am temporarily not on call.
