Troubleshooting machines from west coast to east coast, Canada and US.
Machines are somewhat simple electrically and mechanically.
As a field service engineer you rarely see many co-workers.
If you do, they are helpful and easy to work with.
On the Wexxar productline you will have great manuals and backup from the support team, where the iPAK guys will keep you hanging when asking for support.
I enjoyed traveling and meeting customers from all different kind of industries. 
Pay is below average - you will make up for it probably with overtime. 
I learned so much in depth about corrugate and the packaging industry. 
Unfortunately had to give my notice after my manager did not back me up when it came to promised things for the job and re-negotiated salary.

They have a culture of adequate is sufficient. You will never be recognized for doing good work, and often poor performance is rewarded instead. No matter how much you do individually, the rewards (bonus) is split equally. Management is poor, and the set up leads to much free time and boredom, which is expected to be filled with personal matters to fill time.

The work in electrical had lots of detailed information given and materials were well organized. Lunch room had a food warmer. Work benches were electrically adjustable. Hardest part of the job was the commute. Most enjoyable part of the job was working with polite coworkers.

There was favouritism and protectionism among many people to keep their jobs, not very welcoming.

The work itself was good and arguably easy.
The coworkers liked to drag their feet, it was easy to outpace them. They didn't like that.

It was unfortunate to leave company due to long distance move. Company is great to work for and culture is good. Lots of room for growth, and they invest in their employees, plus they pay for education!!!

Early mornings helps avoid traffic.
Built a variety of components. 
Worked with some pretty interesting people.
Payed well and had good hours for making money over the summer

Good Working Environment and nice co-workers. People help each other a lot. A Well Conceived Plan, strong and Positive Leadership, and Encourage a Healthy Work Environment
