I was a long time employee who was let go a few months after covid. I was disappointed how I was let go - it wasn't professional.

With that said.... I was grateful for being treated like an adult on the day to day while employed. Throughout the year they gave perks for employees ie: Summer bbq, Christmas dinner, morning breakfast on occasion before a shift and more. The way employees were treated made a difference. I will always praise this company for how they treated their employees during my time.

They had great benefits but unfortunately, low pay.

For a high school student, you get to see what it could be. A day would be going to the electrical section, where the electrical components are added to hearing aids, or it could be assembling batterty packs for another type of hearing aid. In the shipping area labels would made and checked on computers to see that they match the same location for shipping. For a high school student co-op the company has a lot for students to learn about the real world jobs that it has to offer.

Leadership changes often and a number of employees are let go to streamline the workforce.

There is a friendly overall culture.  Widex does a lot to try and get their employees engaged.

Quick paced to meet goals and complete the days work.

Widex can be a very busy, moderate stress great people. I have grown a family with the company and an Proud to be apart of a great team!  

My management skills have improved in the last few years and look forward to new opportunities. My latest achievement with Widex was Building a Baseball Team with the employees, we've played 2 seasons and 1 season of Volleyball. outside activities with coworkers builds relationships and show how to be a team and have fun! 

I love my job and the people i work with just wish i didn't have to commute.

Widex has a very relaxed and collaborative atmosphere. Everyone gets along with everyone. We really supported each other well and I liked it because of the nature of how people just went about their job without being micromanaged. They made it simple to understand and were very good about ensuring that they got all orders out in a timely fashion. Overall, a great place to work.

Fair wage, good attempt at social activities - I worked at Widex Canada full-time. The first company in Canada to produce total digital processing of hearing aid signals for the enhancement of speech signals and attenuation of noise.

Working with widex was probably one of the best experiences i can claim too thus far. The job was diverse and always bringing new challenges forward. Travel, head office regardless of where you would be it would always be fun representing the company. Meeting others in the industry is always a plus. Great place to work.

I worked many years with this company, And enjoyed the every day to day challenges that each department would bring, Shipping,Quality Assurance,Order Entry, I also had the privilege of becoming the Inventory Coordinator and enjoyed the challenges and learning experience that was apart of this position.

Widex is good company and great place to work for.
Workers and management are very friendly. Pay is good, but at some cases you have to work hard for that pay.

Widex was a very fun place to work at with very nice welcoming people. Their lunch room had a coffee/tea/hot chocolate maker for those who drink those beverages. It was really fun interacting with the different characters and pleasant to work there.
