The job itself is fine. Gotta watch out for certain long tenured employees who feel you need to worship the ground they walk on. Managers are simply mouthpieces for senior management that's out of touch with the actual needs of staff. 
Some of the people there are amazing gems that deserve better than that workplace.

You have to watch you back constantly with management.  Manager's play employee's against each other. Constant meetings without any resolutions.  No accountability.  You feel intimidated because off your age. You have to suck up to certain management in order to become a favorite and not lose your job.  The hardest part of working at Wilcox, is  you never know when you will be pulled in the boardroom and given a unrealistic reason why they don't require your service anymore.   There is some employees are great in assisting with training and helping you when needed.

The company has transitioned into a much more modern company. Always willing to listen to ideas and make every employee feel their voice matters.  Sins of the past have weighed them down but those issues are well behind them. Fast paced enviroment with a hard working team throughout. They try extremely hard to make the business day fun and upbeat. Staff is not just a number, The Management team makes an effort to learn about their employees.

This is a company that is stuck in the 1920's.  All software packages are only half utilized, so you end up using 7 different software packages to get your job done.  Company claims to be "green" but goes through a million reams of paper a week.  Paper everywhere and they don't recycle.  Managers are dumb, and the only people that stay there get paid next to nothing and pretend to be busy all the time  when there is not enough work or sales being generated.

If you enjoy being constantly busy and can handle a lot of work, join here.

- employees are good people who try to work hard and do good work
- if you're good at your job and they want to hire you, you can get paid well

Cons
- staff are overworked and always expected to do more
- ownership and senior managers don't know what employees do on a day to day so they push for more and more


This place is pretty good place to work. Is it perfect, definitely not. They are working through several items to improve, but it often takes a long time for them to solve some things.

The managers listen to you, they hear out ideas and they get rid of people that are toxic to the rest of the team.

good place to work. Alot can be learned with the industry. managment is good, and friendly.. great industry to learn controls.good hours in the winter, not so good in the summer (which wasn't so bad)

This place lacks Morals and respect to their employees.
YOu always feel threaten for your job and lack of support when you need direction or help.
jobs titles change so much and your orignal duties are still expected on top of others.

Very stressful , some management very distrustful and blaming to cover themselves. Whatever suits their own needs is all that matters , you owe them because you have a job

I found myself loving the company more and more every day. The environment carried a professional atmosphere, constantly reminding yourself that a business standard mindset is needed.
