I had a pretty good experience working with my peers, although there were a few who weren't that great.  a security guard in his 40s started making unwanted advances towards me. It made me seriously uncomfortable, and I later found out he did the same thing to other people on our team. It's pretty frustrating because management knew about it and he was still around. supervisors were all amazing good listening understanding and straight to the point. they helped us accomplish our goals.

I wrapped up a training course this year that seriously helped my career goals. I'm stoked to use what I picked up to score better lifeguard gigs in the future. Unfortunately, I won't be going back to this place due to some messed-up situations. I lost touch with good friends because of it. Plus, some of the other lifeguards had a few challenges in terms of attitude and interactions –  lifeguards in the lunchroom and even swiped food. And on top of that, there were rumors flying around that just added to the stressful vibes.

If you're thinking about working here, my best advice is to focus on your responsibilities remain profession and keep a low profile. Words can easily get twisted, so it's a smart move to keep to yourself and avoid any extra drama. Oh, and just so you know, I observed varying interactions between employees and management.. It's all part of the deal, so be prepared.

Working at this company was challenging for me. I found the environment to be difficult, with what I perceived as favouritism within the management team. 

During the early stages of my employment, I experienced issues with a colleague. Despite reporting these issues to management, I felt that my concerns were not adequately addressed. This situation led to a series of events that I prefer not to detail here.

I felt pressured into signing a contract based on information that, in retrospect, seemed misleading. Subsequently, I felt targeted over incidents that I believed I was not responsible for.

Ultimately, I chose to leave the company. The stress from the situation was impacting my mental health, and I found myself dreading the thought of going to work.

For future employees, especially those in security roles like mine, I would advise keeping detailed records of all interactions with management. In my experience, there were instances where words were twisted and promises were not kept.

This is a great summer job for students in high school or university. The only downfall is for those students wishing to take summer courses, there is really no time. They don't allow time off in the summer. I learned how to handle difficult customers with this job. The hardest part of the job, as a cook, would be that it gets super hot in those concessions and the only building with air conditioning is the break room. On the bright side, this job helped me make many friends and learn new skills.

A typical day at work, you can expect little to no breaks. Understaffed but overworked. The hardest part of the job is the heat, and the most enjoyable is the environment around you. 

Great summer job, awesome co-workers but the pay is not great. Lifeguards get paid slightly more than minimum wage and have to pay thousands of dollars for courses to become guards so it isn't really fair.

I had a great experience working at Wild Waterworks. Plenty of room for advancement if you desire. The public can be difficult to deal with but they provide excellent training to all employees.

It was fun to hang out with other kids my age and work towards a common goal. It was a stressful job as well though since we were in charge of saving people's lives.

fun but tiring, guest services can be stressful but mostly laid back, honestly a lot of fun, however a bit unorganized, great first job for young people or summer job for college students

a good place to work for supervisors and managers are great food ok long hours short lunch breaks could be longer lots of people come to enjoy it water slied lazy river area for kids  

It was definitely okay as a summer job but there’s not a lot of room for advancement there. people were great and it was good pay, but still not enough to live without stressing about money
