This place is by far the worst place I have ever worked at, I am shocked they’re still open. 

There is no official schedule, you are just texted or called in (like a temporary employee). This makes it difficult to schedule plans and balance life outside of work. 

There is no contract - which leads to job instability and makes it difficult to discuss hourly wages.  And allows for a lot of shady things to happen!

Management // owners have no clue what they’re doing. Will yell at you in front of customers for messing up; however, cannot provide you with basic training and instructions on day service and night service. Management will also just get in your way (at times even make the situation worse) rather than helping or fixing situations you present them with.

All in all - don’t work here!


Overall I loved the job itself. The regulars that come in are wonderful and most of my coworkers were great to work with. The thing that’s extremely frustrating is management is extremely unwilling to give you any time off. You can tell them it’s a wedding and management will still decline it and not care. The manager that runs this location treated me horribly and also has a history of being disrespectful to customers. She would make you feel terrible for any minor mistake you made. She felt like you should dedicate your entire life to the job with full availability and never take time off for anything.

Best work standard... Constant restructures and cost-cutting has erroded what was once a great culture. Manufacturing sites are delapidated, and there is no money to fix anything. Upper management seems more interested in press releases and LinkedIn posts showing how wonderful life is than actually maintaining facilities. Corporate policies are written with loopholes so big it ends up being up to individual line managers to decide if they have the budget to follow them or not.



Always dead at the restaurant, you are the only one there so it’s very lonely and you also just end up doing kitchen work majority of the time. management is horrible as well was not happy with the way they treated some of their employees. As a previous employee from a while ago I would not recommend you take this job, during my time their I had over 3 of my coworkers quit in the span of just 2 months.

Nothing. Never paid on time, never got paid.

Never getting schedule on time never getting paid

Awful stressful disrespectful

Getting called into work on your day off

Owners and management do not care for the staff and have unrealistic expectations about hours and prioritizing work. Inappropriate (rude) comments have been made from management to and about employee. Hours were not calculated properly for pay and receiving tip money was a challenge. 

Horrible employer. Rude and unqualified management. They are disrespectful and treat staff poorly. Food is always getting sent back. They drop food on the floor and serve it. They wash wings off in the sink and refry them if made wrong. Overpriced. Ive never been so unhappy at a job in my life or so happy to quit one. 

Everything was filthy and I came in and cleaned it up just to be told there was no money to fix broken equipment or sinks the servers spent more time talking then working and the owner dissapeared never received a T4 or anything just gone overall a really ,really bad experience!

I had a great experience working here. The team was friendly, the manager was supportive, and the work environment was positive. The location near Markham Rd. was convenient and the tips were consistent. Overall, it was a solid place to work with good people and good food.
