Working at WildPlay is a great placement for anyone! Management accommodate to your schedule and are understanding. 

                                   -Work environment-
Working at Wildplay, whether it be at their zip-line attraction or adventure course, it is a terrific place to be. My experience working at the zip-line, which is the attraction I’ve ever worked at for wildplay has been nothing short of spectacular. During the summer and winter months  you get free snacks during breaks, paid lunch, and even over time if that's what you're looking for. It's a great place to work with many employees and many working hours. We have the opportunity to stay indoors during the winter months when it is cold and when there are limited amount of visitors. At Wildplay, it is a great work environment! As long as everyone is doing their share of the job, there is never a situation where you feel like you are working more than your fellow employees. Our efforts are recognised at Wildplay, where we have the choice to participate in staff outings like laser tag, sports, bowling, and more throughout each month, even allowing employees to decide some event ideas to allow the option for everyone to have a good time.

                                   -Workplace attire-
When you come to work everyday whether in the winter or summer you are open to freely choose your pants/shorts as long as they are BLACK, you are given a signature company yellow top that you wear yearly, as well in the winter the option to purchase a company staff sweater or coat. You are also to wear a yellow helmet that is provided to you while working on site that protects you from any hazards. 

                                       -Inclusivity-
The inclusivity at wildplay is unmatched, we have a variety of employees with different backgrounds and lives that work at the zipline, everyone is made to feel apart of the family while working here and even encourage’s to be different! While in our workplace having inclusive workers I’ve also noticed that the management team at wildplay allows you to be heard and is understanding of any problems you may encounter, whether they arise within working hours or outside of them, which promotes a trusting environment. 

Additionally, having the opportunity to meet people from all over the world has given me a fresh outlook on life. Working at the zip line attraction has made me happy to see other visitors enjoy their experience, whether it be by taking their picture for a memory to last forever or providing them with an unforgettable experience.

Who wouldn't want to be soaring across ziplines and climbing trees for a summer? Working at Wildplay is great fun, though the company's executives exploit that.

Staff present at the park, up to the supervisory level, are fantastic. I've made lifelong friends at this job. The people there genuinely care about you, acknowledge your hard work, and do what they can to reward it. 

However, management is messy, and often feels wholly disconnected from the situation on the ground. The few times the CEO was on site, he didn't even introduce himself to our staff or acknowledge our existence. 

Most of the staff at the park are paid less than 50 cents above minimum wage, despite possessing supervisory roles that entail managing all of the daily activities at the park while ensuring the safety of hundreds of guests. Though staff are trained in first-aid, emergency response, and are tasked with navigating guests through high-risk activities that require they maintain a high level of physical fitness, they are paid the same as a cashier. 

Throughout my season at Wildplay, many people expressed their frustration with the wage system, only to be told it couldn't change. Many of these people left (and many more plan to), which led to constant hiring throughout the summer, and numerous days where we didn't have enough experienced people to properly run the park.

It's truly a shame. If the executives at Wildplay chose to acknowledge this issue, they'd retain employees much easier, and probably solve a lot of their ancillary issues as well... 

Great summer job for teens. Management is super understanding and often care for the staff's well-being...but can also be too strict at times while only pointing out the negatives in your work performance and no positives. Like for example in the summer they would watch us work while timing launches in the corner and then would get frustrated when we were being too slow not even taking into consideration how severely understaffed/over worked we were. 

If you're looking for 40+ hours a week in the summer this job is perfect, management is super accommodating with time off requests and supportive when needed. Though this job can be extremely stressful during peak season and exhausting, it's a lot of fun and being able to socialize with coworkers while getting the job done. (it's as fun as you make it) 

Although management does like to pick favouritism, as long as you're a hard worker and respectful they will like you. This company unfortunately does pay student wage for those under 18 which is not fair at all, we all do the same amount of work I don't see why those on student wage should be penalized. Only one 30 minute break is provided during a shift over 5 hours but that break quickly gets cut in half due to "traveling time" that is accounted for and if you're considered "late" from your break you will get a talking to by a manager. 

Despite all the negatives, WildPlay's Zipline has been a cool job and such a unique experience working outdoors by the falls (you get killer tan lines) The company has been good to me and I don't have anything bad to say their is always room for improvement!

Really enjoyable job in the summer, when it’s busy. When it’s not busy, it’s insanely boring but they will reprimand you for not finding things to do to stay busy. Plus, during the winter the working conditions are very rough. 
When employees do things wrong, or treat other employees poorly, they tend to let it slide depending on the manager. All managers are on a different page and people can get away with things depending on the manager. Most managers make it very clear that they don’t care about you when you bring up an issue, and there is very blatant favouritism. 
Pay is okay, and there is definitely room to advance, but not during the off season. Definitely a good summer job, but not year round. 

NIAGARA FALLS ZIPLINE: Just a horrible place to work. I feel that management is on a different level of incompetent. You cannot take your full 30 minute break without getting in trouble. If staff doesn’t like you they can easily get you fired. The pay is insulting, they will give you the least amount possible which if you’re a teenager sounds fine but you will still be getting student wage + a couple extra cents after 3 years of working there. On hot summer days, management will come out and record how fast you can do your job — which is a huge safety hazard. You will get in trouble and written up for the most minor inconveniences, unless you’re a manager’s favourite, in which case none of the rules apply to you. I hated working here, every former and current employee has their own horror stories about this place.

This job may not be fore everyone, it is definitely not always easy out in the weather all day if its sunny and too hot or rainy and too cold. But, there are lots of great people who work there, and a referral program for friends to work with you (two of my friends got hired after me). Managers worked with my schedule to ensure I could work around my school schedule for university and still get the hours/time off I needed. Tough on days when lots of people call in though, but I feel like you will find that anywhere you go. Really good overall for highschool/university age students, there are also other positions that aren't as physically demanding.

I've really enjoyed working for WildPlay, they have great training to help you feel confident in interacting with guests, and working the computer systems, they treat their employees very well and are flexible with scheduling, during the summer it can get quite fast paced and busy, but with such a supportive work environment it's not typically very stressful, in my opinion. The office is also bright and cheerful on the inside, which makes the work environment even nicer, and if you're working at the computers, there's sitting desks as well as a standing desk, so if you prefer one or the other, or you want to stretch your legs for a bit, that's an option.

Overall, I'd highly recommend WildPlay, if you're looking for a fun, rewarding job where you get to help people plan their adventurous activities :)

In the summer it is fast paced and exciting, you get close with other workers! Very inviting work environment with opportunity to grow in the company and gain experience. In summer daily snacks are provided like chips, granola bars, gummies, juice boxes, etc. and in winter hot drinks are provided. We also do staff events every month to get everyone together in a less stressful  environment. There is a good quality break room, with paid breaks. You also become close friends with people you work with!!

During my time at wildplay niagara I've enjoyed working for this company. I'd have to say it's a love it or hate it kind of job. If you have good communication skills, teamwork skills and enjoy the outdoors this is the job for you. Although I do think we could definitely use a wage increase. Management has made efforts to do so with a recent increase last year. Personally I enjoy working at the Niagara adventure course it's very laid back. You're helping the general public and giving them a good experience to remember. The management is very friendly and so our your co-workers. They even have a reference program where you can refer your friends to the company with an added bonus.

I was a driver for the MistRider last season. The morning saw me walking down to the landing to check out the vehicles and help open up. As guests rode down the zipline, I would help receive them, laugh with them, stow their gear, take some pictures, answer questions, keep them safe and escort them to their shuttle for the ride(s) back up.

I learned that I really enjoy working with a happy public, and all were happy. Management were attentive and supportive. Staff were fun to pal around with.

It is hard work, and the weather is the enemy. You deal with extremes of temperature, dampness and in my case road traffic.

Best though is the customer interaction, good management & staff and staying in shape.
