A typical day at work would include cash handling, food preparation, diffusing tense situations and managing records of product coming into the business. I learned quite a lot about customer interaction, managing stressful issues and calmly working through tough challenges. 

Management changed almost every year, giving me many opportunities to experience different managerial styles and work with both compatible and incompatible personalities. My coworkers were usually friendly and outgoing, with great customer service and quick to learn the complexities of different tasks within the business. In situations where a coworker and I did not agree on a solution or process, it was not difficult to discuss the situation and find a working compromise that suited everyone involved.

The hardest part of the job was when a coworker I relied on did not come to their shift or did not put in an adequate amount of effort for the goals we needed to complete. It would give me a larger workload that I needed to manage while still maintaining an upbeat, enthusiastic and welcoming attitude for the constant flow of guests into the business.

The most enjoyable part of the job was always the people. Whether they were guests, coworkers or managers, I always enjoyed interacting with different people on a daily basis. There was also a lot of satisfaction in completing a task to the best of my ability and knowing that I had done a great job at what I had set out to accomplish.

Have amazing people to work with, proper training, manager showed everyone how to type in something when something new came in. excellent service I thought. helped out anyway they could and provide an outstanding service, teaches something when we don't understand.

The restaurant for a typical day is a faced paced environment.  Since I was new to the restaurant business, I wasn't sure what to expect.  The workplace culture was the employees.  It was great meeting new people and fun to work with them.

Great experience working at this company. Especially with building my time management and working in a very fast paced environment. Positive environment.

There were many pros getting to experience working for this company and also the allowance of free drinks or half off on food during breaks. this was my favourite work experience.

Typical day was quite busy. Most enjoyable part of the job was the people that you worked with. Management was good. Difficult location because of the high traffic especially during the summer.

I serve coffee and goodies to fellow students who go to Redeemer University College. I enjoy the social aspect as well as being able to serve others.

Must be willing to work hard, stand on your feet constantly, fast pace during rush hours, thinking ahead, managing time, management was okay but not great.

Being able to handle a busy environment and very fast paced.
