What is the best part of working at the company?
The best part of working for the company would be the manager is hands off, so long as you do your job. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Calgary office runs everything, and they do not care about Edmonton at all. From a 30 year old reach truck, to hand me down pallet jacks, Edmonton is always expected to make due with less. People pay out of pocket for basic essentials like new mop heads, dish soap, coffee, etc. No boxes? Figure it out. There are no perks whatsoever. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Edmonton manager leaves you alone so long as you do your job. Calgary, however, runs the show and does everything in their power to kill morale and save a penny. Coworkers are great, Edmonton manager is great, Calgary office ruins everything though. They will lie to your face regarding raises and benefits. HR is incompetent and does not do their job, however, they are not expected to as they are married to the company president. You will break your back when its busy and be rewarded with more work. Do not ever expect anything more than empty words from Calgary management. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
In the morning you pick orders for the afternoon. Once the morning orders are done, you check, wrap and stage for the drivers. Once that is done, you put away stock until the afternoon orders are ready. Then you pick the afternoon orders, check, wrap, stage, and continue putting away stock.

It was a job. I got hired, they bothered to train me, I learned fast you make an effort to be polite to the guys that work there if you want to be tolerated. Not a bad group of guys to work with, management tend to ignore what happens in the workplace. The biggest gripe was they paid me less as an entry level employee despite my foreman and management past. It's not a job to stay at for long, but at least the job makes an effort  to tolerate staff as long as you do not cop attitude.

The pay is okay not worth the labour, management is terrible, the GM is very rude and honestly just a grumpy person. Great work place however always something to do, diversity at it's best here for sure. 
Pros - always busy, lots to do. Pay is okay not the best.

Cons - management is terrible, unfriendly and disrespectful. No benefits for health or dental. Unstable financially if you want to retire or have a pension plan.

I love the customers they were the best people I met on a daily basic.  My supervisor a really great person to work with.  Finally I couldn't complain about this job, it was a great place to work when I worked there.

Paid training after a few months that you can use for career advancement and you'll actually learn something. Management is below average.

Overall it's one of the better liquor stores to work at.

They woo you in and make you feel good then you work your but off for them and the only thing they care about is getting there deliverys out so there pockets get lined not yours, they don't care about the drivers the turn around there is ridiculous 

No room for advancement. Owner was always rude to staff. lots of health and safety issues. He would make the manager fix the elevator- that included standing under it and hammering the pin back into the scissor lift. Very unsafe.

the main boss is a joke and the pay rate is absolutly pathetic a student couldn't live off that wage  the head office is only concerned about thier staff  in calgary no consideration for the edmonton wear house .

Willow Park is a professional environment for working in the wines and liquor industry. The management is based on modern methods so the work environment is so appropriate.

I enjoyed my work with this company.  I would have stayed for a longer term if pay scale had moved with my experience and growing knowledge of the business.
