I worked at Willowbrook Chrysler before I got a call for a job offering from another company (thank god) and one shift was enough to see how bad this place is to work at (as a lot attendant at least). 

-There is no paperwork done when you are hired, you're put straight to work. This made it super difficult to collect my cheque from them and took several phone calls and contacting the Employment Standards of BC to file a complaint just to get my paycheque!

-They never actually tell you the pay, but it is $14/hour, which is crazy for the work you do. There are so many other dealerships and other jobs that will pay $15/hour and up!

-Overtime is implied! They don't ask you (like they should) but it is implied. This wouldn't have been an issue if I didn't have a class to go to right after. I ended up being late for school because the lot manager wouldn't let me go!

-Almost witnesses a fight between two employees ON MY FIRST SHIFT!! very unprofessional

-The Lot manager is extremely unprofessional. He would get mad at you for not knowing how to do something even though it was your first shift, expects you to work OT, scheduling was a nightmare (for students and part-time workers) and training was basically useless. When he is mad at you for not working OT or taking a shift or making a mistake he won't respond to texts and phone calls, so if you need to get in contact with him for a shift change, scheduling, or just in general, he won't respond to you! One of the worst managers I have ever worked for; he needs to learn to talk to people and properly train his staff!

-YOU GET NO BREAKS!!!!! I'm not kidding, I didn't get 1 real break all shift! A majority of the job is going back and forth from lots picking up and dropping off vehicles, and their idea of a break is you driving the cars, which is INSANE

-When I went for a run to pick up a car from one of the other lots, it had no gas so I had to put gas in the car with my own money! INSANE!!

The lot manager is terrible and the lot attendants at this dealer are basically just treated horribly. The sales reps and office employees seemed really nice, so getting an office job or sales job at this dealer would be a lot better, but the lot attendant role is a joke. Nobody deserves to be treated that way. There are so many other jobs on Indeed that pay more and will treat you better than this place, take my word for it and save yourself the unnecessary stress and headache!

Everyone was so positive and upbeat and Chrysler. 
I learned different computer programs, and how to handle different types of people, and learned alot about different sale techniques.
Management was very encouraging, and helpful. Very patient and understanding. I always enjoyed going to work.

Terrible management and no sense of value towards employees. Given more tasks than anything and never appreciated for getting the work done. Love to find flaws in your work. You will rarely hear thank you’s. And there’s no room for growth. And not paid enough for the amount of work you do.

They made me vacuum multiple vehicles In The rain wit no cover, and used to talk bad about me to other workers so I said fck it and took out a trackhawk, they break all of worksafe bc regulations

Poor management, lack of HR no support for employees wanting solutions to problems. The environment is definitely very “clique” once you have voiced concern management Treats you differently. 

If you like being treated poorly and degraded then work here. Lot manager is a terrible human being and breaks all Worksafe rules, shifts are long and theres no breaks. So many other dealerships to work at that will pay you more and treat you better

Overall the job was easygoing. Management was hard to work with and hard to communicate with. Lots was done behind my back regarding my scheduling and my availability was continually disregarded. 

Best place on earth! Your day is never boring and you will always be facing a new challenge and learning new things. Everyone here at the dealership is super supportive. 

Fast paced environment, and can be high stress. Fun staff and good place to grow and learn. Work hard and they will be appropriately compensated. Can be stressful at times but there is support if you ask for it.

Loved the experience everyone’s very kind and helpful the employees love to chat and if help is required they will offer. It’s a very stress free job and great for keeping you busy
