I worked for Windley Ely for a short period of time in 2014 and thankfully so.  The environment was toxic with "team leads" talking negatively,not only about each other, but their staff  while smiling in their face. They were more worried about their personal lives than actually leading their team appropriately. But thats what happens when you get a job because your parents know the owners. They provide a trainer who does her best but when you actually get into the work, the team leads who are supposed to be trainers, tell you differently and will chastise you for correctable errors that were not even taught.  The environment is stagnant and clicquy.  There's a high turnover here for a reason and it's not because employees can't do the jobs, it's because those put in charge to teach them, don't want to put the effort in. Anyone can do any job successfully with the right leaders.   I'm not even disgruntled because it's easy to find a well paying job in sw-ontario for bilingual individuals and now I'm at a large company, who actually cares and values their employees, where I am compensated fairly, treated with respect and dignity, and am a knowledge expert.  

While working there, I was a Team Administrator. There were three people fired from my position. Every single employee on my team cried and or had to work overtime because the work load was way to great for each person to do their job effectively. For a company who says they try to excel in customer service is over-working their employees and have heard from many employees they can not deliver the same customer service they use to because of the work overload.  

The people who work in the office are great and friendly and some management were easy to talk to. One great attribute to Windley Ely was the time spent on outings for the employees and keeping a good work relationship. 

Overall I would rate this company a 3 star on the workload, a 5 star for the employee relationships and how friendly most people were. And although some management were amazing especially in HR  there are some that lacked. I believe this company will excel if they listen a little more to the employees and their needs on the workload.

Work expanded very quickly outside of training. Demands shifted as to what was originally advised which lead to confusion. 

I enjoyed my time there but I found it very concerning that they were willing to terminate employment rather quickly over somewhat minor and correctable errors. If you hire an employee the employer should expect errors. If the employer demands a new hire to meet certain 'training deadlines' (but also expands the role rapidly, during probation) it seems as though they do not recognize that each individual is different and only care for immediate, and perfect, results - which is not realistic.

I would advise management that there is no one 'catch all' approach to train everyone.

People that work there are  great to work with.
Too much work and very little pay.
Great potential but the new owners are too young and inexperienced, don't know how to manage or lead. They need to give raises as most people are doing twice the work, since people are always leaving.
Most times the company doesn't even replace the workers that left!
Turn over is too high for such a professional business and the pay sucks.
Too bad the clients are unaware on how poorly their claims are managed and how overworker the workers really are.

I worked there for about 3 months and finally quit because the management was awful! They never helped, my work was barely reviewed (I had a huge stack on my desk), they wouldn’t give me more work because I was still newer, and not to mention when the clients were rude nothing was done to fix the situation they just let it keep happening without finding out what more can be done to better their experience. I don’t recommend working here it’s not a pleasant workplace.

Work all day without great guidance, 
I was told by someone that I was hired at the same time as me the person that was training me always had people that quit. They never encourage you. It’s always negative. I don’t blame the business. I’ve blame the person who trained me. 

Actively pursue new business while maintaining exisitng business through new ideas, solutions, and products. 
This was a long term sell. The turn around was not as fast as a typical sales cycle. The team I worked directly with were excellent.

I have worked for Windily Ely for about a month now. I am in the admin assistant role. There is lots of room for growth. We got to a personal trainer that is paid for on our lunches, and the company encourages a healthy lifestyle

There's a lot of work to be completed and it didn't always feel like you were a part of the team. Some members would slack. I would say management is nice but in the end, it is a bit difficult to move up especially if you don't know anybody there in the beginning.

trash company with bad management and colleagues that will trow you under the the bus to gain a cause. If your think about working, dont. If you do not have a choice protect your interests at all times.
