Everything I want to say about my sad experience is this: My stay and my work at this hotel were actually good, because they depended on how well I managed. I did excellently. However, the whole problem lies with the two managers who work there. That is the entire issue.
This is the worst experience one could ever have. These managers, and unfortunately, the high staff turnover at this hotel, are the sole result of these managers. They do not handle their jobs well. They do not care about what is happening, how things are going, or how the employees work. They simply do not care. They will create such inhumane conditions for you that it truly shocked me.
There is a very good supervisor there, whom I greatly valued, and thanks to her, I worked there for several worthy months. But ultimately, I left due to the terrible, disgusting attitude of the senior managers. They are simply not interested in who you are, what you are, or what you do. They will create conditions that make it clear you are not needed there. You are simply a nobody to them

I worked here for 6YRS, and when management changed for the final time, I couldn’t stay anymore. The entire environment is toxic. Management plays favorites, and is very temperamental; you have to basically walk on egg shells otherwise you’re at risk of being written up or yelled at. Management pushed a lot of good staff out and it was very unfortunate. They also do not have an HR department where you can voice your grievances, and this made it hard to talk about any problems you were having within the company with both other staff and management. You also do not get compensated for the amount of work they expect from you, and you’re continuously overworked and expected to just accept it. 

The guests were great, though, and I miss our regulars. They made it enjoyable to work there. 


 
 They get busy around rider days or the exibition days. So it's not always quiet at the wingate by wyndham. Wonderful people to work with and there's never a dull moment , not only do you get work front desk, but help tidy and organize things on your own. I disinfect seats once customer has moved. Or sanitze the pens and other objects around the front. It's an easy job once you get the hands on training experience on the first day. If you are new that is.

High expectation from management. Management will tell you to try your best to do not ask their help or call them and just fix the problem by yourself when there are guests who only wants to talk to manager regarding their complains. 
I had to drive shuttle, clean rooms, deliver toiletries, mop the floor, fix heater and a/c, receive calls, check in, and etc during one shift. You are gonna be only one person working in entire hotel because another coworker is out for the shuttle. 
Front desk agents in this workplace is maintenance, house keeper, and shuttle driver with minimum wage

It's a huge load for which they don't pay extra

Communication with unqualified managers and supervisors who treat you like garbage.

Disrespect on the part of management, rudeness

Very tense atmosphere in the hotel as a whole because of the management because they are very hypocritical and play favourites

I loved working for the housekeeping team, but the pay wasnt enough. The management team was very poor. They expected to much from their emplyees. They make promises and dont keep them. They Trainig is very good. Some of the co-workers are awesome to get along with. Some of the management team are very good to us housekeepers. The hotel is very friendly and we kept it very clean. I loved working there.

Inclusive working environment. With opportunity for grown through the company and there short term programs through reputable organizations. Wonderful work life balance within reason. (it’s still work but they really prioritize your overall well being.)

I wish some of the staff wasn’t there and I wish some of the staff was still there . I had a bad time with the management office . They don’t care about you they look st you to be a number . They don’t want to hire anyone that doesn’t look speak or act a certain way . The mangers are rude and do not Appreciate anything. Your job seems like it’s always on the rocks . My opinion they need to start new with everyone.

Do front desk responsibilities and be a shuttle bus driver same time. If needed help with breakfast and housekeeping
