Worked as a server not worth it.
Management is rarely present, and when they are, they tend to shout at servers to run food even if you’re already busy with other tasks. They argue with staff and use unprofessional language. The attitude is that ‘the customer is always right,’ even in situations where they clearly aren’t.
There is no proper training management does not train staff. For example, servers train new FOH staff themselves. A lot if hires have no experience but get hired due to connections. 
When there’s no bartender on shift, servers are required to make their own drinks, which leaves the bar area in constant disarray expecting someone else to clean up after them. 
Shift supervisor abuses power and treats staff based on personal closeness. 
Tips are always delayed this is the only place I’ve worked where tips are paid only twice a month. There’s no opportunity to grow or learn, and as a result, staff turnover is extremely high, with staff quitting regularly and new hires quitting after a short time

Lack of support from management, blame shifting, owner is rude and judgmental and untrusting of all employees. Absolutely no communication or consequences, expectations are unrealistic and unattainable. Owner will never give acknowledgement of work well done but quick to cut you down and certainly not with constructive criticism...
 however the cooperation is run and owned by a very nice family who are very encouraging and supportive. Surrey,Richmond and Burnaby franchise are a joke. Not to mention Burnaby is infested with cockroaches and mice. There are droppings and bugs everywhere despite the many efforts of subordinate staff to clean and contain the issue.

Typical day- get to work and nothing has been cleaned or stocked for shift
Other servers fight over tables and sections and over all rude 
Management is terrible, they are constantly angry and take it out on their employees 
No over time pay, they force you to take unpaid breaks if you work a long shift and if you occur any overtime it doesnt get paid to you 
Tips often take a long time to be given back to employees
If you have take out orders of any kind you have to tip out on them during cash out and lose a lot of tip money 
Overall not a good work environment, very stressful and dirty 

A typical shift at Wings Tap and Grill was very fun. My co-workers always helped me get through my shift and always brightened up my day but the kitchen management was very unorganized and did not treat many people with respect and dignity. But the General manager and the managers for the front were very nice. The most enjoyable part of the job was cooking. Ever since I was a kid, I have always loved to cook so it was fun cooking and making money from that.

I was hired as a restaurant superviser but ended up being a server. I was working 60 hours and being paid for only 35 hours. I was working 10 hours a day for 6 days a week. No breaks. Owner does not care because his business, he sees it more as a hobby and because it is failing he makes his staff work more and doesn't pay them or pays them under the table because of their visa. Would not recommende working at any wings tap and grill a

at first my experience there was alright, but through the time ive been working there, the management seems to be getting ruder, and they cuss out employees, and boh staff arent any better too and the pay is very low... only bright side is free staff meals... it's mostly favouritsm and playing the blame game... I highly do no recommend applying for a BOH job here

Come in the morning to a clean kitchen, having a great crew and sometimes there would be coffee or donuts waiting. Hardest part of the job would be not having enough people on when there was an order coming in during a lunch rush and the dishwasher that would open the store was always a few minutes late. But the crew were usually great to work with.

Costumers are generally amazing and often tip well. However severe favoritism is obvious and manager doesn't care about the staff or the company and only looks out for themselves. Wish this issue was resolved because the place has wonderful potential but I've never been treated so unfairly at a workplace and I've been in this industry 10 years 

My overall experience was shifty, the company itself is probably okay but the location was not, very unprofessional. We have had a mouse run around in the open many times, the floor is constantly dirty, and the pay absolutely sucks. Tips are worse and no one contacts you when your scheduled shift is cancelled or changed.

Managers are super unprofessional. How did the managers even get hired honestly. Definitely would not recommend. For what you do, you do not get paid well. They make you work super late. The managers have no idea about the meaning of professionalism. So many people quit. Worst place to work at costumers are awful too. Trashy & ghetto place. Dirty place too!
