As an inexperienced power engineer I found it a good place to develop skills from mechanical maintenance to drywall repair.  GM is willing to get his hands dirty or come in at any hour if necessary which I think says a lot about the work culture.  The chief engineer is very professional and never once raised his voice even if someone deserved it.   You're not going to make a fortune here, but there are a number of people who have been here for years anyway.  I found it a useful stepping stone in my career and I'm glad I started here instead of a heating plant because I got to learn many things, including to maintain an ice rink. 

It is a decent place to work but management could be improved.  Replace the current GM and chief engineer. Members are fun to work with and the option to use the facilities for free as a employee is great. I think they could afford to pay their engineers more money ,. Considering the work load put upon them.

It's nice as a new start engineer work there. Chief engineer is an experienced person and could help people improve a lot. I learned a lot useful skills when I was here. I like my boss work attitude to treat everything seriously. Just few colleagues like companying and they could keep companying a tiny job forever. I am tired of hearing it.

There was always too much to do, lazy workers were often praised and the hard workers werent recognized. 
They have their favorites whom they are personal friends with outside of work, and those people were often the lazies who got away with doing nothing there whole shifts, and could do no wrong, while us hard workers who sweat and worked constantly didnt get notice.

Great team to work for. Create amazing connections with both coworkers and members. Learn something new almost everyday and space to grow as an individual. Fine tuned many skills to move me further within the company and beyond. 

Members are amazing. Upper management creates and allows a toxic work environment. Club will probably be forced to shut down if they don't get new management in there. Staff is overworked, underpaid and underappreciated. High overturn rate. 

Very toxic work environment. GM is very critical and negative and main cause of the toxicity. Stay away from this company. The best part of the job is the relationship you build with the members. 

The Club has Tennis, badminton, squash, a great fitness facility with a work out studio, a catering area with a conference room. Has a cafeteria and a hockey arena as well. Great people to work with and happy members.

Nice place to work members and staff are friendly. Lots of learning for everyday, I'm having fun working there, like to work everyday sometimes even weekends I don't have a problem
