Woodmere Nursery

Was a good job, i did split shift so i got 5 hours of sleep but was thriving. The people were friendly to a point. Also was out for 8 days at a time. I learned how to deal with people and that the company was always right. My day consisted of cleaning the kitchen, rec room, making 300 sandwiches a night, making juice and coffee, cleaning all the kitchen appliances, also did housekeeping so i vacuumed, took out the garbage, deposit toiletries, make beds, wash laundry and cloths. My hardest part of the day was doing split shift for house keeping because i did the morning and the night shift so i had to wait for the night shift to leave to clean their rooms so it was an all day job.

a day at the nursery was pritty long sometimes but most days would go by fast.
the things that i have learned at this job site was that its always good to keep an eye and a ear out for people that need your help .
management was good in all catigories and they definetly do want to help you in any way possible so if you do end up working here dont be scared to ask for helf.
my co-workers here were always happy and fun to talk to they realy lend a hand out for people that need it and definetly give tips on easier ways to do things around there.
the hardest part of this job is if you dont ask for help you wont get it and your left alone unless someone sees you...
the most enjoyable part of this jobs was everything and if you dont have fun and work at the same time your doing something wrong......... its awsome

Some  mornings we would start at 7am 8am finish at 430pm. I learned alot about the different types of trees, seedlings, thinning, weeding and also how the production on line was. I was on the loader that brings down the soil to cover the blocks threw the conveyor belt line. I worked in the block washing room.I help place the full seeded wet blocks on pallets as well. Helped with watering the ends in green houses sometimes. The hardest part of the job sometimes trying to get the whole green house done so we could move on to the next green house.

Do your best at were ever you feel comfortable it's  an awesome job. I really don't know why I left to begin with.
You could be put on the belt, making boxes up top getting them ready with the place, date stickers on the boxes for shipping , washing trays, stacking boxes on pallets, or doing clean up on the floor while everyone's on break. 

I have had a lot of jobs over the years due to moving around a lot and I have never worked anywhere as amazing as Woodmere. The bosses are kind, considerate, easy to talk to, and genuinely care about each of their employees. The people there are all super friendly and a joy to be around, and as long as you work hard you will have an overwhelmingly positive experience. 

Terrible company doesn't give raises and  excuses and empty promises nothing but run around   no rewards wants work ethic but won't reward that 

Don't waste your time this is a  BS company nothing but carrot dangling  cheap will not spend money on equipment that actually works

It is a very productive place to work and everybody there are respectful. I learned lots of new skills, and met lots of new amazing people. It was a great opportunity that I was given to work there.

But it sucks you have to tailor everything to your garbage audience  but other wise a great place to work co workers were meh alot of older people so no one to connect with

it was a job and it was too far from home for low wages. I go there as a last resort as it is so far and it just covered my gas. I am a single mom and it was what I needed to do at the time there is a lot of drama out there as well and little clicks that I stayed out of.

Woodmere had it's ups and downs. Nobody gets along there. They all talk about each other. Some very lazy people there, you doing the work and they just sit there smoking and not helping. Manager needs to get rid of some of the old guard.
