Workland

I've worked at Workland for about 6 months now, and I am so grateful I was hired. The company has a great work environment and culture. We have a small but very collaborative team. Everyone's voice and opinion is encouraged and valued.

The company listens to your career goals, and plans a career path for you. I have had the opportunity to learn a lot and am given ample opportunities to grow and contribute to our product. 

Our feedback is constantly heard in retrospective meetings and is acted upon as well. Our manager has an open door policy and is very approachable and accommodating. 

Despite COVID-19 and having to work from home with zero experience, I was able to thrive owing to, all the support from helpful colleagues and the welcoming culture of the company.

Overall a very positive experience. 

Workland is a great place to work. Like any company that goes through growth periods in a short period of time, there will be challenges; like culture shift, and inconsistent planning. 
However during the 'teenage' years, we're getting over some of those growing pains and really coming into our own and re-establishing our culture, clarifying our goals and delivering clear plans to be successful.

Everything used to be extremely fun and carefree, but things always were when you were a kid! Now that we're growing up, things are a little more serious, but that is critical to continue to evolve as a business.

Additionally, in context of a global pandemic, Workland is consistently exceeding expectations of how it is supporting its employees, communities and clients and I am truly proud to be a part of this group.

I've just completed my internship with Workland, and I had a great time and learned a lot through my experience!

This internship gave me the chance to go through the full recruitment cycle and to learn a lot about various industries and positions in a short period of time.

The manager was very supportive and welcoming since day 1 and cared about creating an environment where overall growth is encouraged. The team is wonderful, fun and always there for each other. 

Any questions I had along the way were answered, and I feel grateful and privileged to have had the opportunity to learn and grow alongside them.

I'm convinced that my experience here will help me open great opportunities in the future. I highly recommend this internship for anyone looking to learn a lot about the world of recruitment quickly.

Working at Workland has been a rewarding experience due to its exceptional work environment, collaborative group dynamics, and stimulating challenges. While it is a good place for improving work experience, the internship is totally unpaid and the company don't care about even interns' transportation, the interns have to pay for opus card for three months. 
They ask interns to find good candidates but they don't pay attention to what you are doing, there is no template for interviews, nothing is ready for the firts interview, and there is no policy in their system.
They hire interns, old interns leave, new interns join, the company is going on without spending even a penny. Interns work the same as seniors, without even thanking them.

A typical day at work revolves around headhunting and recruitment. I learned a lot about headhunting candidates on different media outlets. I also developed my interviewing skills. The management and coworkers are always willing to help and give guidance. The hardest part of the job is waiting for your results to show as the process of recruitment through headhunting sometimes takes time and patience. The most enjoyable part of the job is working alongside fun people and having a comfortable work environment.

Working at Workland as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator has been an incredibly rewarding experience so far. The team I work with is very supportive, and the company has a strong focus on professional development and managing a healthy work-life balance.

They foster a collaborative work culture where teamwork and knowledge-sharing are highly valued. Its commitment to diversity and inclusion is evident in its practices, creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued.

As a first experience, it was amazing! I hope to stay and keep growing and learning from them.

This is a good learning experience if you want to improve your web design. But you will have little guidance or mentoring. The point of an internship is for the benefit of the student to learn. Here you will be expected to do the job of a paid front end developer for free, and will be held accountable for the quality of your output. Management is also poor and was passive aggressive and unprofessional to me at times.

What is the best part of working at the company?
It is a very casual work environment

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Lack of guidance, disrespect of interviewed candidates in private communications, disrespectful tone of managers towards each other. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
No best practices were in place. The company values are not put in practice or kept in mind. Some colleagues are very altruistic while others are not at all.

It's a good experience to have if you do not have any HR experiences, especially in the field of recruitment. I took on this opportunity because I wanted to discover whether it was a field that I wanted to pursue as my career. The open-door policy is true and everyone is friendly. The senior recruiters are always there to help if you have any questions and there are no communication barriers. The con would be the fact that it is an unpaid internship.
