I’m a city driver and according to me little bit stress in every job, all over stress free .

A typical day at XTL Transport for a truck driver usually involves checking your assigned truck, reviewing delivery schedules, driving to designated locations to pick up and deliver loads, communicating with dispatch regarding route updates, adhering to safety regulations, completing necessary paperwork, and potentially being home daily or overnight depending on the route and schedule assigned to you; with a focus on efficient delivery and maintaining good communication with both the company and clients

Working at XTL as a driver for the past 3 years I feel part of a family rather then just a number in some big company. From the office staff  all the way to employees everyone is friendly / supportive with a professional attitude. 
Xtl offers training to help integrate within the company smoothly. Just like any other company problems do occur , at XTL they deal with the issue immediately and make sure the right solution is instilled that will benefit both the company and employee. 
At Xtl ,as a driver , a typical work day averages 9-10 hours. To be honest , there are no hard tasks at Xtl  since there is no labor involved . In my opinion this eases the drivers mind therefore they can focus on driving safely. 
Lastly , if you have any questions there is always someone who can assist you. At Xtl you are taken care of . 

A typical day within XTL was very business focused.  The expectation of management was you are here to do a job and to do it properly.
  Within the collections department you were extremely busy as the staffing was stretched as far as it could go (3 staff members and one supervisor)
My coworkers were great to work with.  It is a very integrated company ethnic wise.  Which allowed myself to broaden my knowledge on people and different cultures.
The most difficult part of a day was having set goals to accomplish and realizing that the were unobtainable due to other work that may take priority or other time sensitive projects arising.  The worst part was when you had made arrangements with a customer and they did not fulfill their end of the agreement to bring their account current.
Over all XTL is a good place to work.  I believe once they complete the restructuring of the company it may become more profitable for upper management

Great company to work for, great culture and nice work environment. I have been with XTL for about  8 years and I feel like i have been there since 20 years. 

Great professional team across Canada that do more than their  best to help answer all the questions.

Our executive team are very transparent, always around and easy to talk to. The leaders have a genuine interest in employees’ engagement and enjoyment of work. I feel the new management/leaders genuinely care about the employees.

XTL is a great inclusive and diverse culture. Always seeking to improve and develop new efficient ways of doing things. Hard work is noticed and praised.

I love how my colleagues and I don’t feel like just a number at XTL. I am truly blessed to have been given the opportunity to work for such an amazing company...




Typical pick and deliver. I just wish I can get major miles at the beginning of my shift.

Management is great cause you never have to see them unless you do something that should not have, but they are friendly.

Pick your own route but you'll be paid fort he shortest rout and not the fastest.

Hardest part of the job is circadian rhythm goes off track and you still have to maneuver to make money, if you can.

Best part of the job is no one really bothers you, but when they do it seems to come back to back so you have update your resume just in case. JONT

They seem to be busy, and well structured with lots of business....but its very NWO attitude type structure can be hard on a human soul, with what is coming into this world.....New Jersey, Pennsyvania are major delivery areas, and the deadlines that were placed upon the drivers, were awkward, and only attainable with crafty clock management.....delivery, an no large truck parking in these areas was awkward also.....I was very fortunate to find parking on a side street....but if I was asked to moved, my clock would activate......causing a driver infraction....which I managed to avoid by Gods Holy Grace...lol.....other than that, the drive was enjoyable, and lots of truck stops during the voyages!!!

This place is like your normal ( not ) super high pressure cross dock environment. 
They fired me cuz I left early after my second day of training simce the guy who was trainning me felt like it was normal to yell at people. Typical transport culture. No respect towards fellow man in anyway. What kind of company has employes who have barely been there for a year give training? Oh the ones that are poorly structured and don't want to invest in adequate training. This company isn't for those who enjoy structured environments that follow the letter to the T and empower their staff.

steady work , great and well maintained equipment, great maintenance department

getting dispatched . there still working out a few problems

mixed culture that can be very difficult to work with because of the language barrier

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
after getting your dispatch then show up to terminal to get tractor then head to warehouse to get trailer the head to store and deliver load then return to warehouse sweep the trailer , park trailer return to terminal park tractor and go home

They will like you when you first start there. As long as you work 24/7 for them you are a golden child but as soon as you say enough you are no longer liked. They will play games with you. This place has BIG turn over of employees. Wages are low and you have to fight to get a raise. Management is a joke.  If you like to be micro managed you will be fine. Not the worse company that I have worked for but it is up there. The wage thing was the biggest issue, they think they are paying a BIG wage when they are always cheap. Management loves to talk smack about employees and then they are nice to the employees face. They are always playing games with employees. The moral is low in this place to say the least

What is the best part of working at the company?
Terribles management, they don't care about the drivers, only to make money to them, but drivers gets slow hours of work, almost every single day they are slow days of work, always cut the hours to avoid over time, but always they are hiring, it's very stupid. Very cheap company.

Always is slow work, not enough hours.

Heavy work environment, always pushing the drivers, but not enough hours of work.

Always is slow, too many drivers and short or hours for everyone.
