If I could give this job 0 stars, I would. Never in my life have I gone through something like this. The managers do nothing but degrade and insult you. There is minimal training provided and they throw you onto the floor expecting you’ll know everything and get angry when you require help. Their only focus is sales and have no care for the customers. Basically told me to not bother with the non-paying customers who just come in to browse and jump into the ones who are solely there to purchase. 

They are extremely competitive and have no regard for your hard work and sales and will do anything to steal your customer so they can have the sale. The employees make you feel bad about yourself and they are extremely judgmental towards customers. They will not approach the customer unless they are appealing to the eye. The customers wearing a ‘lazy’ outfit will be ignored.

There is no communication within each manager therefore when one manager assigns you a task, the other manager will rudely stop you, get mad and send you off to do another task which enrages the OTHER manager who initially assigned you that task.

Overall, the staff is rude, mean, judgemental and horrible. I worked there for only five hours and finished my shift in tears. In the spam of just a few short hours, I felt absolutely put down by the staff. I was criticized for every action I did. Not because I did not properly complete my tasks but because they are a staff that obviously shows favouritism and values those with seniority. The treatment I had received was extremely unfair and this review isn't even touching the surface of what I experienced. I am writing this review to warn any future candidates looking forward to applying to this position. If you're into being verbally abused and bullied, then you will love this job.

I also want to warn the customers. The clothing is very cheap, material is very inexpensive and tears easily. I advise you to not spend your money here.

This location (and company) needs to be looked into and reevaluated for their treatment towards staff and customers. Absolutely horrible.

The work culture was one of the worst I have experienced in retail. Employees such as myself  were pressured to approach and follow customers around the store, which often made myself and shoppers uncomfortable. Management placed an overwhelming emphasis on sales metrics, and I was constantly pushed to meet goals regardless of how it impacted the customer experience.

The clothing was also significantly overpriced for what it was. The pricing simply did not reflect the value of the product.

The company also lacked a clear niche. Instead of offering unique products that set the brand apart, much of the merchandise felt similar to what could be found at lower-priced retailers. 

Internally, management created teams and sales goals that were described as a "friendly competition." In reality, it fostered a toxic and highly competitive environment among employees. We were were constantly measured against one another, which hurt morale and teamwork. The owners regularly monitored us through the store's camera system, and they made sure staff knew it. I was E criticized one day for interactions that management had observed on camera, including situations where they felt an I had not approached or engaged a customer quickly enough. Because of this, many I felt I was under constant surveillance and scrutiny rather than being trusted to do my job. Instead of creating a supportive environment focused on coaching and development, it contributed to a culture of micromanagement and anxiety.

Another major concern was the lack of an HR department or an independent avenue for me to raise concerns. Scheduling was often unfair, iI received countless weekend closing shifts. 
Overall, my experience was that the company prioritized sales, employee surveillance, and unrealistic expectations over staff support, development, and workplace culture. While the brand may project a polished image to customers, the environment behind the scenes was far less appealing.

Can feel competitive and overwhelming at times. Scheduling is only made week by week and typically put out only 2-3 days before the week starts, then its most likely there will be one or two revises to the schedule after it is sent out Sunday evening. It can feel very unstable as one week you may work 4-5 days and the next week only 1-2 shifts. The coworkers can be very kind however can easily make you feel cornered and defeated. It's likely to have positions given away or hours cut. They over staff and will hire 10 people, while still hiring people. The store its self is great but management structure has a long ways to go before it can become seriously productive and beneficial to both employees and the company. 

Love working here. I have worked at both the Toronto Premium Outlets location as well as the Niagara one as I was a student and they allowed me to transfer stores during and after the school year. 

Two totally different experiences with customers, but awesome time working at both. 

You are taught that customers are most important and how to truly outfit them from head to toe which is super fun and I actually had some really great regulars I got to know and funny enough customers who shop at both locations so they recognized me. 

Owner seemed intimidating but shes really so smart and I loved when she did visits because she really took time to talk to me and encourage my learning experience. She doesn't take no for an answer and believes that anything can be acheived if you put your mind to it. Some people are just lazy and cant understand that but honestly once I started getting stronger in sales I loved my job even more. 

I recommend working here if you love to sell and have high energy. Also....if you love the clothes cuz im obsessed!

The management team are highly incompetent in training and running the store, often blaming staff for failing to meet sales targets while not doing anything to help the team. There was constant pressure to approach and follow customers even when the customers were apprehensive and avoiding being confronted. This made it an uncomfortable environment for both the staff and customers. If you did not approach and follow every person who walks into the store, you would be threatened that head management was watching on the cameras and you could get in trouble or replaced. Scheduling was based on how much the managers liked you and not on competency. I witnessed multiple occasions where management would reduce employee hours to zero for consecutive months, forcing a resignation rather than firing you. Extremely toxic and anxiety inducing workplace environment where the managers were constantly and needlessly talking bad about their staff about non-work related things.

Working at Toronto Premium Outlet location we all honestly get along amazing and have made friendships both inside and outside of work. Our manager is fun but super strict and honestly she always tells us to do our job and all will always be good so we do. 

We have a whole new team here and im loving the new environment. Bad managers bring everyone down and im happy we have someone new to bring us together as a team.

We have been doing so well and its been fun. 

We have friendly competition and grad season is insanity right now weekends you cant even move and i honestly look forward to it because days fly. 

Love my DM shes always straight with us but with a smile so we get a good laugh but we know to work hard cuz she wants us to have fun while making store budgets because then we all leave happy. She actually spent time with us the last few weeks really developing the team and has been pushing us to learn more each day. Im next to learn fits so im so nervous and excited....great place to work if you love to actually hustle!

A typical day at work is filled with managers hovering over you, you can’t scratch your back without them having their eyes on you and saying “ go get that customer “ they  make you follow customers around the store, it was extremely uncomfortable and unpleasant. 
Workplace culture is filled with drama, you have managers talking bad about other staff. 
girls fighting over sales when Commission isn’t a thing, but they act like it. The managers care more about the sales than their staff, if you get sick forget about calling in sick because you will get punished for that. I called in sick and they removed me off the schedule for the rest of the week and they didn’t schedule me for two week, be prepared to come in sick. 
The managers  will take advantage of you but when you need them they won’t be there. 
The most enjoyable part of the job is when the grown ups acted like grown ups
The managers will belittle you

a typical day ,go in and be told by a man.trainee I have to sell x amount on my shift .
I learned not to befriend staff there , go in do your hrs and go home. I never got close to former manager she was business all the way ,but what I can say is koodles to her for turning the cheek and walking away when disrespected for the last time by a co worker who pushed her to far , thats one classy lady .

Was that relayed to owner who visited on that while ago  weekend and just left or was it wispers of bad talk again  about manager that was off sick .. coming from upper staff members mouth 
the most enjoyable part of my job is when I do finally leave this job i will take with me what I dont want to ever be like in a work place 





Worked there for only a short time but I really liked the ladies I worked with. Some more than others. They definitely made it a better place to be. The actual store wasn't that great. High expectations with little or no recognition for anyone. Was often made to feel like my performance wasn't good enough by upper management. Was also guilt tripped for leaving for vacation even when given plenty notice. Store was compared to other locations (Vaughn in particular). As an outdoor and outlet mall,  people expect more sale and the brand sadly didn't often have them, so they go to Vaughn Mills (an indoor mall), and shop there. Not to mention the fact that that location got items we never did and we lost sales due to that fact. 

When I was there you had two "teams" and competed against eachother. I asked a coworker where something was for a coworker "well is the other team helping her?" If they were then I guess we just don't help? 
I was greeting with another girl who just started and was encouraging her as she was shy. (Also super sweet and awesome) then as soon as we go to greet another coworker swoops in like a vulture so we can't.  I was showing a customer a dress...this was during hight of covid so standing my distance. Another work swoops in and squeezes between us and takes over the sale. It was the most stressful and ridiculous work experience I've ever had. I also had to contact higher up just to be able to get my pay.  Extremely cut throat and no team effort.
