A typical day consisted of engaging and promoting positive, fun and active retirement living using different approach systems. I interacted with the residents on a day to day basis and coordinated with staff and volunteers on developing, implementing and scheduling recreational and social activities for the residents for a time that was good for them. My co-workers were all very friendly, it was a great team environment to be a part of. Working as an activation worker is awesome because you are making everyone's day a lot brighter and positive and you are teaching people how to look at the bright side of things and set goals and achieve them. The hardest part of the job is when you see people whom you've shared a lot of time with pass away, its heart breaking to know how short life truly is. But it is also wonderful that you get to meet people from all walks of life, and hear a lot of different stories. I've gained a lot of insight and I am very happy I worked there.

What is the best part of working at the company?
I dont see any best part, if you work there will be tired after work.


What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Taking shower for the heavy person especity when the partner doesnt know how to do it.  





What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Its all Chinese there and its old building, so it needs to repair and should install the ceiling lift everyroom

Finished my task and some colleage is lazy

typical day at work involves:
•	Basic Bookkeeping of Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables; Data Entry and Invoicing
•	Bank Reconciliation; Reconciles bank statements by comparing statements with general ledger
•	Maintained accounting records by making copies; filing documents
•	Maintained accounting databases by entering data into computer; processing backups

Chinese culture.. but if you don’t speak Chinese or read or write well they will judge you. Make

Expects alot from you. Training is not good..

Work and make sure the numbers are accurate and correct. Making quotas.

There is no best part working in this company.

Very heavy work load with low pay.

The work environment is toxic at different levels. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Very busy with stress and with less respect.

Wage of the job is good but to long and hard dietary was to do everything it hard to remember the residents diet texture especially if the all have Chinese and when you ask if  they can have diet binder instead they say no with name and when you don’t speak Chinese either dietary staff was rude especially when your not Chinese

A typical day at work was extremely fulfilling. I was able to learn a lot and the more experienced staff were helpful in many different ways. Adjusting to working with new people was extremely easy. The experience I got really helped me better communicate with all types of people including, elderly, patients, staff and family members.

I worked here as a volunteer and I really enjoyed working there. The employees were all kind and helpful, they taught me everything I needed to know about their work place and how they get things done. I got caught up quickly and they appreciated my help.

The management level would only protect themselves, a lot of gossiping and politics in the company. Lacking staff, low wage (compare with the mainstream industry), but demands to be the leader of the industry.
