YO! Sushi

Training is the worst I’ve ever experienced, you’re just used as a sushi making machine without proper training on systems or trail.
Only interested in you filling in all online training mandatory and kiosk expectations are too much for one person although you will be expected to work alone and produce all items .Each team member is supposed to make £600 of product each day and Managerial support is non existent only through wassap ! No care or help is given and Will take any applicant on to work and give no support but plenty of criticism to you. Everyone is on a 12 week probabtion and be prepared for no advise or leadership to steer you right , just a review which they make you think all is ok then terminate your contract there and then and dismiss you without warning or chance to advance . No data protection or privacy as staff are allowed to tell customers and other company  staff about issues in kiosk and disclose personal information ! Shocking behaviour and not a company I would recommend to anyone , go through staff as quick as sushi on a conveyor belt ! Bad ethics and Bad culture !

Great staff, great customers with the odd few that can ruin your day but that's expected. Wary of the management. The manager just didn't seem to have a clue about anything. Always running out of stock in the middle of the week, sending Rota out ridiculously late and reducing hours; which isn't ideal when you're paying rent and bills - just adds a lot of unnecessary stress. I'd say that my last few months there became a struggle, barely enough to cover rent and get to/from work and then let go. Manager couldn't give me any actual reason as to why Im being let go, but to me it further demonstrates the higher ups at Yo! don't care for their employees.

Through out the time i worked there, we had been pushed by management to ‘make! Make! Make!” After two years- conveniently when wages went up. They took our daily working time down an hour, so yet am i to experience the positive side of this. Management dont care about you, they have the same speech installed in them which i have heard way to much. Make more! Bring sales up! Make it look good! All whilst they have you making above a hundred units a day by yourself within 7 hours. Oh and a break? Forget about that.

It may seem intimidating to work in the center of London but you'll enjoy the experience. Your co workers will guide and support you through a shift. Management will help you on shift or give you time with personal issues,there's good communication. The hardest part are the learning the menu and lunch-time/dinner-time rushes of customers. As long as the staff work as a team it will be fine. The best part is customer interactions and see returning customers,tourist and others.

Was a nice and fun place to work until management change, after that it was unbearable  to work there.
Very bad overall, it's a open restaurant in the middle of shopping center, so everyone is just jumping inside and out

I have fun working here and the staff are now my closest friends. Its always a joy being there. great atmosphere. The job is easy to pick up and its a great way to meet new people.

The people and everything thungbthere was amazing at work the staffs wore very helpfull to teach and guide me to show how things are done and prepared never a dull day at YO!sushi .....

Expected to do a large amount of production in less hours which are constantly reduced. Terrible management that never keep you in the loop... My advice....run!!!

learned a lot from yo sushi through cross training. head chef is brilliant at teaching and leading his team. great place to work as it is very busy and always something to do.
