The most stressful part about working for the company is not having enough staff to help customers .

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The environment is good and there is a diverse culture working at the company.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A typical day would be greeting my fellow associates and customers opening up the cash register.

A typical day at work consists of,

Replening all items and having all edges of items(Jeans, Shirts) are all aligned symmetrical. This task is done to keep the store looking clean. 
After this is done we move on to other tasks such as: Dusting, Sweeping etc.

What I learned and improved on through out my experience is to clearly communicate with customers to satisfy their needs.

Management was fair and understanding

There was not complications with the job

The most enjoyable part of the job was satisfying the customers needs

Worst senior management ever assembled.
The senior managers will always take credit away from staff and routinely divert bonus monies for their own purposes ( steal from staff ).
Numerous complaints filed with the Ontario Labour Board for infractions.

I have learned a lot of experience in customer relationship management (CRM) as well as enjoy in Chinese culture. My manager gave me a lot of his experience in supply/control day-to-day operation. I have learned to do the report to match the money in cash register with the sales.

It was a good workplace to be with. I lobe my co-workers here. This a workplace that is not all about work but you can learn and feel the true family here. The manager is very hardworking person and nice. The envrionment is well, except lately our hours was cut.

I learned various cooking techniques, How to generate sales, and run a kitchen, on a day to day basis. Prepared necessary  ingredients, sauces, for the kitchen. Handled special dietary restrictions. The workplace however was very demanding. I worked on average 10+ hours.

Working at Yorkdale is often fun, fast-paced, cultured and ever-changing. But there is little room to grow, and is very competitive for simple positions. People come and go very often.

- hardest part was maintaining a clean store on busy days (weekends)
- enjoyable part was having a fun team that was close like family

This was my first job and I had thee best time working for this company. Management really cares about their employees and are easily approachable if any problems arise.

I really like to work at the pickle barrel at Yorkdale. It is a good distance from me and I like to work in a mall environment. Everyone in the pickle barrel is really friendly and outgoing which is really suitable for me.
