It was a great place to work while it lasted. I didn't think of the CEO and the VP as bosses, they were mentors, I learned alot about business and myself during those 3 years at Yak. We had aggressive goals and challenges, but with the support we got from the CEO and VPs we felt we were all in this together. It was a great environment with comraderie, never have experienced the same level of encouragement and responsibility since.

- Company promotes a 9-5 culture that you don't bring work home, good work/home balance
- I've learned everything I know about telecom via Yak Communications/Globalive, an interesting industry
- Management was understanding but lacked direction and motivation
- Probably the best Co-workers that I've worked with, the reason why I miss working there
- hardest part of the job was trying to keep it interesting, after 6 years, things became stale
- working with co-workers were the most enjoyable part of the job

I worked for over two years and half for YAK Communication, in terms of company culture, management style, co-workers mutual friendship and mutual assistance, I would say it is a preferrable work place I ever seen in the past, I like YAK very much. Unfortunately the office was closed due to business termination.

it was a warm place with nice coworkers, yet promotions were unfair and some of the customers were rude! however, i was a person who follows up all issues until were resolved and i used to get customers appreciation at the end!

So long as you do your work and treated your coworkers with respect, you'd do well there. The employees and employers there are very understanding, and flexible in setting up a schedule.

It was an honour to work with yak communications. i learned so much about technical support and made me even pursue a career in it.

Under new Ownership now so can’t vouch for the current status of the company. My time there was rewarding,educational and challenging. It was a pleasure to work for them back then

It's a good company but they decided to diversify and sell the telecom business. We are now displaced and looking for other opportunities.
