A typical day consisted of preparation for class, teaching and performing related job function mainly clerical in nature. I arrived at 0630 and left any where from 1530 to 1900 depending on the courses taught and the candidate load.

I learned a great deal about the transportation industry and dealing with transport operators and their idiosyncrasies.

Management was supportive but at the same time allowed you the freedom to perform within your guidelines. The staff, my co-workers, were  a great group supporting and encouraging each other to meet the Corporate expectations.

The most difficult thing was to not be able to enable a candidate to meet the expectations of a training course and the most enjoyable and personally rewarding was to see people exceed in their training and be able to apply that knowledge in their day-to -day work.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Meeting new friends very friendly atmosphere dispatchers were great to work with management was very cooperative and helpful if you have a problem

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
I didn’t find any stress situations at this company. It was very good and stress-free. You always had a load. You were never sitting more than two maybe three hours at the most

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
They were all different people from different parts of the world working for this company. They were great. Each had the good and they’re bad but overall it was a very good company to work for.

I loved this position as well as the shift work I had.  The work was very tough, but having the environment and people in the office made this a very good environment.  Management were professional and helpful.  If Yanke would not of closed I would still be working here, I was dedicated to this company as they treated their employees with respect as earned.

Its a very friendly company and take care of the drivers when they have a personal problem!The trips are very nice!we drive a lot to USA and you can see a lot of diferent citys,like San Francisco or Las Vegas,which i only see on TV before and now i can see it LIVE!!!

Pros- 
Met a lot of great people
Was able to get forklift experience and experience using a clamp
Alot of food options close by.
Cons-
If your commuting from Surrey by transit it will potentially take 2 hours each way.
Pay wasn't great at the time ($11/hr) 

Great team. Great benefits. When the company y was sold the staff were not made away and the company that purchased it made the announcement prior to Yankee Communicating To their staff. 

Problem solving- 100% fast and effectiveness. Their solution of migration process is amazing and took only half day from the registration in Public Office till the Bank account
Sad I had to leave

While I was there is was a good place to work.  Company made some poor communication decisions when the company was sold.  Pay was not great.  My supervisor was a good guy

Felt like I was part of a family.  My coworkers make work enjoyable with their sense of humor.  We all worked hard but like to have a bit of fun during the day as well.

over the past 7 yrs yanke has been commited  to their drivers and staff , dispatch was very good for keeping the drivers moving  and home when time slot was selected.
