Yellow Cab

The job was fun and easy when there was work to be done. In Louisville, KY. the work was slow and a challenge to find when it wasn't being stolen from you from drivers that friends on the inside. The management had friends that they would tend to clue in on cab runs others were already sent on. But if you were able to compete with the few that had the inside advantage the job was rewarding in the way of allowing you to expand your customer relation skills by meeting new people with unique wants and needs and by pushing you to stay relevant and create an exclusive value amongst a sea of people providing the same service.

It depends how day holds. Good day is no accident

when one can reached his/her goal that had been set

when one sees the good result of his/her work

- Daily Record Keeping
- Small business management
- People skills
- new areas
- latest community news.
- long hours and idle time.
- lack of advancement (dead end)
- physical and mental heath risk
- no health or accident benefits
- dangerous fares and area of work

Very dishonest management. Probably the worst job I've ever had.

Every person in the office will warn you about management stealing wages, and then management will get surprised and try to play it off like a mistake when you call them out for doing it. Your intelligence will not be respected if you work here.

Not a great career choice.  Good as a starter or fill in while upgrading personal skills towards a better career.  Having worked there on and off for over 39 years, I have to say you really get to meet all kinds of people

It is worst place to work management is unhelpful and rude. They treat you like you're no human being.
No I won't recommend any body. It's risky place to work. Unsafe

I LEARNED HOW TO MULTITASK. I AM ABLE TO KEEP MY PATIENCE. I DEALT WITH DRIVER DRAMA. I ENJOYED WORKING WITH OTHER DISPATHERS AS THEY ARE FUNNY TO TALK TO.

Poorly run, long hours for no money, office staff Never there.  Never returns phone calls.   Owner never takes responsibility always passes the buck.  Would not recommend to anyone

If you have good city knowledge it is a good place to work as a cab driver.
Working as a taxi driver for a big company like yellow cab is a good way to make money

Duties consistant with a Taxi Driver. Pick-up and drop-off customers to given destinations. handling of cash transactions.
