Oversee the store to make sure its clean and staff are motivated to do a good days work.
l learned that there is a fine balance in making sure the staff are happy and want to do their best and work as a team.
The management from the Head Office are always ready to help if needed.
My co-workers (other store managers) are great in sharing ideas at the monthly meeting.
l would say the hardest part of the job is getting good staff and when you have them making sure that they are praised for good work as you are only as good as your staff.
The stores do have a fun atmosphere and we do have a lot of children in that love the fact that they serve themselves and that makes them feel very grown up. l have seen many times when the kids show the parents how the system works.

Opening and closing alone is relaxing and almost stress free.
The store is self-serve therefor leaving more opportunities to interact with customers on a regular basis and draw in others attention.
Management is great, friendly and very understanding.
The hardest part of the job would be racing back and forth to make and prep yogurts/food, while handling customers, and also because you work individually and have to close temporarily to take a break, you can only have a 15 minute break.
Most enjoyable part of the job would be the great team and the opportunity to serve customers in your own creative way while providing still excellent service.

This job was reasonably engaging. However, you would often find yourself barely working for an hour, then having an influx of customers arriving after a certain event (such as a play or a movie), making the job load very uneven. I learned the importance of consistency, very often I would find myself preforming tasks every hour like clockwork. These tasks included cleaning things in preparation of new customers and preparing things for use later on during the shift. Learning how to work alone was a very important part of the job as you would find yourself maintaining the store on your own for many hours per shift due to the nature of the job. Overall, the job was fairly enjoyable and rather relaxing.

A typical day at work would include, cleaning all hard surfaces (tables,chairs,yogurt machines and kitchen). Interacting with customers while working cash as well as providing customer service. Which provided answers to commonly asked questions to do with in store promotions as well as dealing with any customer complaints, and making sure the customer leaves happy, and wants to return the next time around.

I would clean the store and make sure everything was in place. I assisted customers when they came in, placed new toppings, and made the frozen yogurt. The most difficult part of the job was constantly making sure that there are available toppings and full machines of yogurt. It was a great learning experience as a sales representative.

Although the season would often affect how busy the store would be, it was a very relaxed workplace. The work environment was very focused on team-work as many tasks that would be conducted throughout the day heavily relies on the work of your other team members from previous days. In all it was an enjoyable place to work, although I would not want to return.

A typical day at work is refilling the toppings, weighing the customers yogurt and handling the cash register. A weekend day of working is cleaning the yogurt machines, setting up the bubble tea machine and taking the toppings out all in two hours.

even through the summer rush, the people always made it a fun and calm experience.
management is friendly and reliable.
only downside is the waves of disrespectful movie theater groups that would come and trash the place every hour.

Yogurty's has high energy and nice staff to work around. A typical day or shift consisted of food prep and  customer service to ensure that every customer enjoyed their experience with us...leaving with a smile on their face!

i've had some of the best times here and am looking forward to many more to come.

management is fair and well done.

i enjoy all of the people i get to interact with daily and all of the new working skills i've acquired along the way.
