Working here can go from quiet to not so quiet in a matter of minutes. It all depends on the day really. For the most part you get your work orders and you know what the day is going to be like. The only part is you can be called away for an emergency. 98% of the staff that work there are great and amazing to work with and for. For the most part it's a great place to work and even live, you are treated like family while you are there and even when you are not. 

The hardest part of this job is your patience, if you can't handle being yelled at by tenants who seem to think they are always right and well that's just society in itself then you should not be working in this field. It's 99.9% of the tenants that you will be dealing with and dealing with them even when they are wrong. The enjoyable part though is helping the tenants out, yes even the ones that yell and scream at you because they are thinking they are right. But, that's just life in general. The other great thing about working here is the owners and the family members that work here. They are about family and caring about their employees and even taking time to ask how you are doing and along the way a few laughs.

Yes, I know longer work there as that was my choice to leave the company and for my reasons. Dumb mistake....yes. At the end of the day though it was my time to move on and seek out a new opportunity for myself. If you apply here and get the job you will be actually be happy that you did.

Working at York Property Management has been a genuinely positive experience. The management team is very engaged and approachable, always willing to listen to ideas and provide support when needed. You can really tell they care about their employees and want everyone to succeed.

If you want a position where you never know what will happen this is type of place you want to work. Everyday presents a different challenge which is the best part of the job. The management is supportive of decisions made and is also a great teaching experience on a daily basis. The management is also supportive with things that may happen in your home life that may interfere with work life. You have to work hard but in the end you will be rewarded for your hard work. I love the challenges that come at me on a daily basis and the satisfaction of being able to solve problems for the tenants which are the backbone of our industry. No workplace is ever perfect but I love working here and feel that I am supported by my management team and for that I am grateful and continue to work hard to do the best I can and am rewarded for that hard work.

I highly recommend working at York Property Management. As an Accounting Bookkeeper, I've found this to be one of the most collaborative and supportive professional environments I've ever experienced.

A circus with no professional conduct or work place safety. No punch in or punch out clock, no one supervising or revising your work, moldy mops, old brooms, unregulated chemicals, constant issues with vacuum cleaners. High stress environment. Will terminate you without an explanation. No loyalty. Would not recommend tenants to rent there or for honest people to work there for the good of their health. 
Higher ups only show up in a blue moon and leave as fast as they came. 

When your job is to clean and you have beg for gloves, garbage bags and more... you're creating the foundation for an unhealthy environment.

A typical day is always changing , busy during the summer months .. Great hours and time off. I started with the company 5 years ago and am still here loving my employment. I feel the company has a family feel that I am a part of. 
Over the years I have learned so much. If you are willing to learn and change you will excel and you will receive appreciation for the work you do.
The hardest part of the job is the tenants as they can be very demanding  - so you have to show empathy and patience -

Every role is critical to the success of the organization, so you will feel that what you do matters (regardless of role). 

Have been with York for just over 2 years.

They have allowed me the flexibility and responsibility to manage myself,
this comes after doing the work and showing my abilities. The same would apply to anyone working here.  
There is no end of work and the days can be pretty varied. 
You can establish good relations with the Residents as this goes towards giving good service and also a reflection of your work  

I have worked for YPM for almost 5 months now and it has been a roller-coaster - - in a very good way. Each day is different and there are many tasks to complete, as well as follow-up on previous work. Many a day have I looked at my watch and thought, "Wow, the day is gone." The great thing about this is that there is always something to do and some days are more intense than others. Being organized is key to success.

My time at York Property Management was enjoyable and fulfilling. A typical day involved working independently, which allowed me to focus and manage my tasks efficiently. The support from my supervisor and the friendly interactions with tenants made the job even better. I appreciated receiving tips as a gesture of thanks for my efforts. Overall, there wasn't a difficult part of the job, and I hope to find a similar independent and rewarding role in the future.
