Your Dollar Store

My Usual day at work starts with opening the store and putting everything in place and start cleaning my cash register and the area all around it. I am a cleanliness freak and then start cleaning all the sections which I am supposed to.
Most of the day I am in contact with the Customers and sometimes its a very good day and sometimes its not that good, still I keep my cool when some customers are really difficult.
My co-workers are really helpful as I easily make friends ,I get along with almost everyone in the store.
I have learned a lot from this job the most important being very very patient with people around me.
The most enjoyable part of my work is when some customers come in to fill helium in balloons.
I enjoy my work.

worked as cashier and also put out inventory. I learned to deal with cash at a fast pace. As co-workers we took turns with cash, inventory and organizing inventory.The hardest part of the job was during christmas closing the store while it was busy. Enjoyed dealing with customers and the amount of walking that was done while cleaning the store.

This company has a reputation for treating their employees, especially their female employees, badly. It is a boys club through and through. The Controller/HR rep is not working in your best interest. Despite this being a very small company, it is managed poorly and with very bad communication standards. I would not recommend working here.

A typical day at work would consist of
ei: cash, interacting with customers, cleaning, stocking, innventory, lottery. i didnt really work with anyone on my shift i would start and the previous person would leave and then when i was off someone else would come in.

A typical day at work is rather eventful. There is always work to be done including stocking shelves, organization, Tagging, Facing, etc. You are always surrounded by excellent customers and staff. We always work as a team to complete full customer satisfaction.

Good learning experience in retail sector, improve my multitasking skills, improved my  problem solving skills, learn & run business independently when menagment needs.

Making sure store looking neat and clean for costumers .
I mange the store with 6 employees workers I have are hard working willing to always help out . Hardest part of the job would be theft .
Easiest part of the job would be light work and good hours.

This was my first job and the management was great to work with my school schedule. Loved working here.  A typical day at work was coming there after school, helping customers and very simple closing duties. Was always out of there on time.

Get to learn lot about customer service and have good working environment. Working with other people is most enjoyable part of the job and i learned a lot about stocking dealing with people and leadership skills.

Nice laid back job for working students, given great opportunities to talk to customers and build relationships. fun work place when managers don't over book with projects and put behind important tasks.
