A typical day at work is a fun enjoyable day taking care of the customers for full satisfaction, surrounding the work environment with smiles, ask-able questions, and sneakers to show off :).
A technical part of the job was when a customer was unsatisfied with her purchase and there was no manager available for the time being, so as a sales rep i took a stand and delivered customer expertise (making arrangements for her) towards the customer so she can leave the store with a smile then without a smile or shoe purchase. Overall, i like a job that is very hands-on keeping my jets running, and i learned to never settle for less within a company always aim to gain respect and strength within the company.

The most enjoyable part of my day with YES happens when I see the clients succeed and I can witness their growth.

Nice working environment with great people. I learnt how to register in clients, book appointments, update various office resources. I also learnt about cultural diversity and how to communicate with different people from different cultural background.

Fun environment with great staff!  Helping youth from 16 to 29 years make resumes and cover letters.  Conducting presentations, workshops, and mock interviews as well!  The best part of the job is when the clients are able to find work!

While working there, I learned so many things and had gotten so many new opportunities I have never experienced before. I am so thankful they have gotten me to where I am today with all the skills they have taught me!

Worked in a youth program and helped youth find positions for their first employment during the summer. We trained them then helped them find youth friendly jobs.

Working here is really fun. I really enjoy working at Youth Employment Services. I help out the Career Guidance Counselors to ind a right client and being a mentor to all the clients who come to our employment services.

Budget, getting a rest/not doing anything if we are done our jobs, co-workers are friendly, the management is good, we get along with others
