rustrated and unsatisfied. The encounter occurred while seeking assistance with a product issue, and unfortunately, the service representative failed to meet even the most basic expectations.

From the very beginning, it was evident that the representative lacked proper training and knowledge. Their responses were vague, evasive, and did not address my concerns adequately. I had to repeatedly explain my issue, wasting valuable time and energy. It seemed as if the representative was not genuinely interested in resolving my problem.

Furthermore, the representative's tone and demeanor were unprofessional and uncaring. They displayed a complete lack of empathy and failed to provide any reassurance or support. Instead of actively listening to my concerns, they seemed disinterested and impatient, which only escalated my frustration.

To add to my disappointment, the representative failed to offer any viable solutions or alternatives. They seemed more focused on deflecting blame and avoiding responsibility rather than taking ownership of the problem and providing a satisfactory resolution. It was evident that they lacked the necessary problem-solving skills and were ill-prepared to handle customer issues.

As an outbound sales agent I must reach a certain quota of sales a day. I must provide outstanding customer service and assist a customer with any issues or problems that they are having to the best of my ability. Management was always on top of things and easy going. Co-workers were all friendly and easy to get along with. We became a team and helped each other with any problems or issues that they had. The hardest part of the job I would personally say would be dealing with customers who were rude and angry. It was my job to stay calm at all times and assist the customer and provide them with customer service regardless of how rude they were. The most enjoyable part of the job was the fact that at the end of the day I would help out numerous customers. I would cut costs that they are paying and provide them with new services they would enjoy. I also liked the people that I had worked with as they are full of life and enthusiastic when we put numbers on the board.

A typical day at Zedd Customer Solutions as a customer service outbound phone representative is all about customer service and building relationships with different marketing campaigns. 

The daily routine was building a rapport with customers to consolidate and reconcile accounts, as well as gain new business. Also making contact with existing and potential customers to find out their needs and inform of new products and/or services. 

I up-sold products and services to top competitor customers, gaining new customers. I also managed account escalations in a professional and effective manner.

My co-workers were team players and made it easy to resolve potential issues with accounts by working together. It is always fun working side by side to achieve success and reach company targets.

The most enjoyable part of the job was finding new challenges and ways to motivate the team to strive for the company goals. I also enjoyed learning new sales techniques and approaches to sales.

There was nothing in my prior position that I found overly difficult or hard to complete or attend to.

Everything here works on favouritism, literally everything. The training will begin making it seem like a HUGE deal making you go through tests etc and those are the easiest 7 days you’ll have after that keep your dreams of moving forward locked in a closet forever. A few TL’s ugh they’re a pain because once they take a dislike towards you, you’re done. They won’t let you do your own hours and will call in 5 hours before the shift saying you’re not needed today. So you’re stuck here and can’t even find a better job. You travel for 30-45 minutes and they send you home after 2 hours saying you can go there’s not much calls! First of all the call volume is crazy, forget that you’ll even be able to swallow your own saliva, and get used to falling short of breath. Expect answering at least 100-120 calls per day. Out of those you’re expected to make at least 10 sales, and if you don’t, forget you’ll get hours. The sales pressure is real. If you’re a sales person, you might find this interesting but if not, I’m sorry. There’s ABSOLUTELY NO CHANCE of moving forward here. NONE.

During our global pandemic, while our province is in a declared state of emergency, Zedd Customer Solutions is continuing to run business as usual. 

Apparently calling people unsolicited to upgrade their cable packages, or their satellite radio subscriptions has been deemed an essential service. More essential than the health and safety of those of us hired to create that profit and drive those sales. We are not customer care, our authority lies solely in increasing revenue. 

Many employees at Zedd have babies or young children at home, and a lot of the people working at this minimum wage job, including myself, have chronic preexisting conditions. Not to mention the employees who are seniors, or who take care of elderly parents. 

I heard numerous times, first-hand from upper management that the novel coronavirus "is just a common cold" and that "we are all going to get it anyways". 

Price gouging pensioners on a fixed income should not be considered an essential service and the fact that it has been allowed to be classified as such is morally reprehensible.

Very unprofessional TLs/Management. Always nosey and trying to get into peoples' personal lives. If you want freedom turn back now! because apparently this is a boot camp where you cannot turn your chair to sit comfortably, turn your head to look at the window, and also cannot talk to your co workers when you have NO CALLS. These people expect so much from their underpaid employees when they themselves do not behave professionally and always so demanding of SALES. Not only that they expect their employees to always make up their hours even if they are eligible to take personal days. The tone is always condescending and the atmosphere is just very unappealing.. also I heard they have now increased the hours.

Zedd is a wonderful place to work. The managers are friendly and polite and the hours are not bad either. The job position is calling existing Rogers customers and upselling them new products and services as well as assisting them with any other concerns they may have. 
Your co-workers are a mixed of different ethnicities which is great. There are people whom have been employed there for many years and some who have only started.
The hardest part of the job would be working overtime hours or meeting daily quotas in times when the quality lead have ran out.
The most enjoyable part would be when we have prize winnings for meeting our goals or they have raffles monthly. I also like when they give us free pizza lunches when we meet our goal quota numbers.
The pay is not the best but over all it is a good employer.

On a typical day at Zedd, I log in to the system and get ready to make outbound calls to Rogers customers. Main priority in contacting previous/current/ and non rogers customers is to present new rogers products, right size their rogers service to match their current and future needs, and provide new services as well. The most difficult part is trying to satisfy Irate customers in order for them to stay and continue to use rogers services. The most enjoyable part I would say is meeting new people and learning how to market products and services based on customers needs and interests.Providing the right product and service to the right customer is the key role in maintaining a strong customer satisfaction.

A typical day at Zedd is fairly predictable, selling Siriusxm and providing customer service to French speaking Canadians who have our product in their new vehicles.
What I learned at Zedd is how to think on my feet and how even a smile can communicate itself over the phone.
The management at Zedd have too many supervisors. The left arm has no idea what the right arm is doing.
My coworkers are diverse in every possible way, from age, cultural backgrounds, education, interests and are the best group of people I have worked with yet.
The hardest part of my job is dealing with the confusion of what is expected of me and the mismanagement and mistreatment of the agents.
The most enjoyable part of my job is providing customer service to a satisfied customer.

This company posts job postings almost every week if not everyday. If you try to apply they don't ever contact you. I think there just looking for people who they can hire for free literally. 

What company who doesn't have a high turnover posts everyday or every week you tell me. 

They won't hire anyone with experience because then they can't fire you. If you have no experience and they hire you. They expect you to know everything without training you. Once you can't get sales in first week your fired. 

That's why they post out here all the time. Stay away from this company as if you do stay longer than a week you'll be lucky to last 6 months not more.

If a real job and don't waste your time applying to this company or you'll regret it trust me.
