Your work hours being cut. One week you'd have 40hrs and the next you would have 16hrs.

Your co-workers were supportive but store managers are independent.

Most days were stressful due to inconsistent staffing.

They aren’t as flexible as they claim to be!
If you’re not available 24/7 then they don’t want you even though it’s only part time!!!

Not getting time off when needed

Stressful , not helpful 
They want you available 7 days a week for them even if you have other jobs and commitments

Although the job itself was fairly easy the management on nights are absolutely terrible. 2 managers and only 1 -2 employees working a night(including yourself) and the managers still didn’t bother to do much work. Instead on a daily basis they preferred to openly complain and mock store managers, department managers, coworkers, former colleagues, eat food instead of working, and go out for cigarettes when it’s not their break. Over all an absolutely horrible experience. 

first thing in the morning I had to go to the back and make sure all the machines were working fine and everything was up to code and nothing was blocking anything and start receiving and unloading trucks and in between trucks I did stuff in the PI department which was all the signs and labels in the store to tell you what the product was if it was on sale or not i had to scan print and put up

The manager have no communication between each other once so ever. My manager was sexiest and a pedofile at the time. If they don't like you there, they will cut your hours down, or try to get rid of you.  The manager picks favourites a lot of the time. 
My schedule was horrible,  your hours are all over the place, never steady hours.

They have a huge turnover, not enough staff and they make you work harder for very little pay. Management is not experienced and not good. There’s no personal recognition, Does not matter if you work hard or better than others pay is still the same. No real bonuses or Christmas bonus. Have to work almost every weekend and late evenings.

My first job during high school. Typical day was assisting customers with groceries and gathering carts. Learned customer service and time management skills early in high school. Hardest part of the job was pushing carts during inclement weather, best part of the job was pushing carts during sunny weather, the staff and management.

Zerhs regular Customers are great to deal with how ever , management. Union , an organization communication absolutely not worth someone's time

Union there for management not for employees..... management sets a horrible tone to work an wonder why some employees are way they are.

Very friendly and welcoming at all times

Decent place to work, really learned how to deal with all sorts of different customers, and workplace challenges as well as work under different settings.
