ZODIAC SWIM SCHOOL

        In this place, I was challenged to give my best in whatever I did. People we're acknowledged for their hard work with the "Employee of the Month" award. A typical day at work would begin with setting up the tables and equipment for lessons, and then greeting parents and picking up children when classes began. Management was understanding to personal events and was willing for last minute subs. Co-workers we're mostly university students or grads but friendly and a joy to work with. The hardest part of the job was failing students that did not meet the requirements but the more enjoyable was when the students themselves we're having a good time.

Having worked at Zodiac for over two years, I learned how thing worked out. Starting at 9am for every shift can be tiring, but it has its benefits. The management can be a bit strict at times, but as long as you follow the rules that have been appointed to you as an employee then they will be understanding. My co-workers kept the job light by always joking around with both the supervisor and other staff. We did our job, but we always had fun while doing it. The hardest part would have been during report card times when everyone is cramming due to bad time management. The most enjoyable part, however, would be watching the children's faces as they jumped for joy (safely) as they passed. All in all, awesome job to be in.

Teaching children and adults alike is a very fulfilling experience and having the opportunity to teach people how to swim for life is a valuable skill. Knowing that makes me happy to work everyday. The manager I worked with helped me out with any struggles I faced during my employment and overall I would work as an instructor again.

Zodiac Swim School was a great opportunity to get ones foot in the door. They pay reasonable well, and pay big bonuses for referrals. The co workers are great and the facilities and equipment are top of the line. The classes generally are very small, and manageable, and lifeguarding is made easier due to this

Were very child centered, and always welcomed constructive criticism. Supervisors are always approachable, welcomed questions, and coworkers were friendly and always so helpful.

Management was very supportive and the most rewarding part was teaching the kids. Coworkers were very nice and supportive. Hardest part of the job was talking with parents. Classes had 1-4 kids and were 30mins to 1hr long 

I don't think I have ever had a bad day working for ZODIAC. I look forward to going back each week. 

I have been with them for just over a year and I love it the staff are nice and the pools are clean :)

great to work with children in an aquatic environment and create weekly lesson plans to ensure their aquatic success and safety. Worked on communication skills with children and parents.

Poorly paid for a lifeguard. Long hours and super boring job. As well, don't get paid well for the job being performed. The head staff is pretty nice but co-workers don't want to socialize.

My experience at Zodiac, was great, I loved every part of working there. Management was very easy to talk to, and very helpful. Overall a very great experience!
