There is absolutely NO management. Whenever the management is there, it’s usually only to fill out grocery orders, or drop off an item that’s run out. There is also barely any support from management when complaints or concerns are raised.
The work life balance is so abysmal, as most of the time, they do not respect your availability or your requests. They will constantly push shifts onto you that you told them you couldn't work. They also shove responsibilities onto you without giving you the proper pay or the proper title. The training they give you is so minimal that most times, you’re left figuring things out on your own. This causes other employees to either be short with you or lose patience with you.
You should also never expect to make more than minimum wage, unless you’re a supervisor or a manager. 
SEVERE understaffing problems, as everyone either leaves within their first week, or gets fired. This ends up leaving people with no option but to work anywhere from 6-11 days in a row.
They WILL cut your hours for either no reason, or for their own personal reasons without telling you.

Za Pizza Bistro has grown popularity fast which is good for business. You learn the process of making pizzas, preparing the ingredients for making the pizzas and learning how to cook the pizzas properly as well. The workplace culture is very good as the coworkers I worked with were very enjoyable to work with. The most enjoyable part of the job was working with the amazing staff as they made it a joy to work there. On the other hand management could be a little better. There needs to be better preparation when the days the store does get busy, so situations are not so stressful and cause unsatisfied customers.

Workplace culture was odd.hardest part of the job was having to put up with the manager. most enjoyable part was quiting time.

Learned how to run a store, great work place with hard working employees, busy days, long lunch rushes. was a pretty easy going work place, but barely any room for advancement.

Working at Za Pizza bistro was a wonderful opportunity as i learned improved time management skills as well as the ability to work in a fast paced environment. The hardest part of the job was simply keeping up with orders as lunch rush was very intense

I wouldn’t recommend working for za, even as a first job, unless you want to be underpaid, overworked and in general treated unfairly.  Obviously not every location is the same but for-sure the two I worked for, the whole company is just a complete joke. 

The manager is flaky and never pays on time. Horrible experience. I highly suggest you never ever apply or work here. I learned that I should never trust anybody. The only enjoyable part of the job is making yourself a pizza when it's slow which it usually is.

A typical day at work includes making and serving pizzas and beverages for customers, cleaning and doing prep during slow periods. Management is really easy going when it comes to needing time off and working around school schedules.

At work the manager talks about employees to other employees behind their backs. The job isn't bad because you end up working with really good people but the management sucks

Not a good workplace, some co-workers are friendly but most are just bullies.

Manager will throw you out even you only spend an hour working.
If the place is not busy.
