The turnover rate here is extremely extremely high (with all positions - assistants/clerks and lawyers)   Each month there is either 1-3 employees leaving or getting fired   

The gossip in this place is nothing like I have ever seen before and that is mostly because 90% of the clerks and assistants are in their 20s or early 30s    There are maybe 2-3 staff members in their 40s and none any older than that   

I would not recommend leaving a secured job for this place   It is a huge gamble as hard working individuals are constantly being let go if they don’t fit the cookie cutter ZTGH mold    I think because of the high turnover rate they need to hire quickly so they hire individuals until they have time to the type of person they deem worthy to work there    

The ability to work from home is nice    But it’s not worth being constantly worried about job stability    At the end of 2018, they let go a TON of employees and told everyone they were being laid off    All these employees were replaced within months with younger employees that probably took a lower pay rate

There was very little training for this role leaving me feeling overwhelmed and anxious witching my first few hours on the job. There was zero vacation coverage meaning that when I got back from vacation I was expected to sift through 1000++ emails to find what was relevant. The work environment was drab and not inclusive. I was let go after taking a mental health leave and confiding in HR about my mental health. The benefits were terrible and the management and Hr team was unsupportive altogether. 

At ZTGH I started out with a senior lawyer and during the time I was there eventually moved to work with one of the firm's named lawyers.  There was opportunity to learn as much as possible, whether communicating daily with major US insurance companies such as State Farm; helping student and summer position lawyers to organize their practice; working with new legal assistants to train them in the firm's procedures; and adapting to a busy law environment in which thinking quickly and logically was essential.

I worked at ZTGH for just under 3 years. The most enjoyable part of my position was the people. The Partners care about their employees and I always felt appreciated, and respected. The culture is collaborative and flexible. It was nice working at a Firm where continuous improvement was a clear goal. If you put in the work you will get recognized. 

I miss working at ZTGH.

Overall, ZTGH is an excellent place to work. All associates and staff are very supportive of each other and are always willing to help each other out. The Firm provides flexibility, great work-life balance, and a positive firm culture. The Firm also gives back to the local community through various initiatives.

If you work hard, put in the effort needed to meet law clerk annual quota, and you can learn quickly, great place to work.

Salary expectations are low. Not much advancement to be had.

The work is challenging and interesting, there are always more opportunities to grow and learn.  Management is supportive and approachable, and the work/life balance is very good. I recommend applying to work at ZTGH. 

I was hired as a law clerk.  I had no experience but was given invaluable advice by those who had worked at the firm for a number of years.  There was a great team spirit.

Most staff members (associate lawyers, assistants/clerks) are pleasant to work with

I don't have much to say about this company. the turnover rate is ridiculous. 

The chance for improvement is minimal. they do not give raises based on performance only on favouritism.
