Zedi

I have work for Zedi, Inc. for more than a year as an Administrative Assistant (Accounts Receivable Clerk). I felt fortunate to work with people that show professionalism on how things are done and the friendliness that makes me feel part of the company even though I was just hired on a contractual basis. 

The hardest part of the job is to know what are the coding requirements for the new companies that Zedi, Inc. is doing business with. A few rejections here and there but after a few more invoices submitted I get to know how they would want it done.

My enjoyable part would be having no rejected or disputed invoices after I submit them for approval which means all coding requirements are correct.

A typical day at work involves troubleshooting onsite issues and concerns for contractors. I have had the opportunity to be exposed to industry standards and practices. The most enjoyable part of my job is having to communicate directly with production managers and top shots in the oil and gas industry while having a real sense of contribution to their growth and development.

Management has an understanding of the direction they want to go but lack the right tools (Human and technical ) to get there. HR is completely once sided. It does not how useful you are a a team member, you could be let go if your manager says so.

Review daily tasks with staff
Communication is key and its better to inform everyone you think is involved.
Work culture was great, people communicated fairly well and kept people informed when rush orders would be pushed through

love the team and the culture.  All employees are very emotional mature and teamwork is everything. It took me 10 interviews and 6 months to get hired but it was worth every step.

Amazing company

I found it a very busy and fast paced environment. Always striving for more within the organization, but if you didn't work at the head office advancement was almost impossible for numerous employees.

Constant management change, overall good place to work but sales expectations are not realistic to market conditions.  The culture and people make Zedi a truly wonderful place to work at.

Everything was very different than what they represented in the interview. The atmosphere was not friendly, more senior staff was unapproachable and it was disorganized and unprofessional. 

Work with team and problem solving what team has having with work related. I learn how to trouble shooting, It is a multi cultural place to work with.
