A fantastic place to start, learn very good industrial and piping design, and be mentored. New projects to learn from every year as contracts were obtained and a fabrication shop to see the design work being assembled and produced, and interaction with skilled mech. and electrical technicians, welders. Coworkers were always willing to help and answered questions. Atmosphere was great but only to just do your work. If you wanted more, it was up to you to do the training, learning, and research, very low to no input from supervisors and managers.
5 years is the mark where things go on the decline. When approaching upper management with suggestions, asking for training (unless you were an engineer) you were not given the opportunity to suggest anything or discuss potential improvements. Training was minimal and left for you to do on your own. No CET assistance given or offered. Only engineers given P.Eng help and PMP, upon request.

For Junior and Intermediate positions, an amazing opportunity to learn and grow. No long term setting, will be stagnant and no position growth, high chance to be let go when work is slow.

Very toxic work environment. Working under Weld Supervisor has unnecessary stress and discomfort. Constantly being met with beyond unprofessional comments, insults, emotional outbursts and teenage girl behavior. Makes the work environment very unproductive and creates a toxic work culture. Hiring a new weld supervisor would greatly improve the productivity and employee retention. Overall, I would not recommend working here as a Welder. There are so many other options in the area and I strongly recommend you look elsewhere for a meaningful career. 

As a past employee you may consider this just a negative comment, however, the truth is the so called quality manager is an Engineer by trade, thus making him not a quality individual, those in quality will understand that. With so many egotistical individuals/ engineers working there it makes it very hard place to succeed. In short stay clear for all those quality inspectors looking, the manager will not have your back and will as they say throw you under the bus at any given chance. If you can deal with that then maybe give it a try, but be careful.

good place to start out at, but the welding manager is a bitter person, totally miserable to work under and will constantly micromanage you. if you're looking for a place to grow long term zeton will not be that place for you. 
there was also alot of  downtime inbetween jobs which you will not be doing any welding and essentially become general laborers, so keep that in mind should you decide to work for zeton


You have to negotiate your pay.They will try to pay you the minimum and they probably will not give you full-time.Full time is hard to get.they try to keep you as temporary.no retirement(they use to be good a few years ago.now its personal)

I learned a lot from working here. Everyone or well mostly everyone would work hard even though the work is not that hard. It's pretty physically demanding on some days though. Also the supervisors still actually turn wrenches and get in there with ya.

I was hired upon Zetons Inc. expansion. Management was lovely to work for. Direction was given when needed and help was always at hand. Co-workers were warm and welcoming. Was a pleasure to work for Zeton Inc. for the short duration I was employed.

most people are good to work with, Under new management that has lots of experience, but no management experience at all. Very unique type of work, but are getting to big for management to handle.

Two faced employees crying  to the upper  management.  Don't do it.  Its not worth the money big time back stabbing if you can go somewhere  else  do it

Good place to work. Down side is waiting a year to get hired on full time and to get health benefits and a uniform. Other then that expect a good experience.
