This company is the most horrendous place to work at it. All it cares about it money, money, and more money. How can they find new ways to get rip of the patients, how can they come up with new policies to overwork and underpay the staff. All decisions are made by the beancounters based on a P&L sheet with zero considerations for the hard working people behind it that make it happen.

Over charge patients & force staff to participate in making up lies (ex. tell patients they are just "passing on" a $2500 Invisalign lab fee to patients when the real lab fee is variable and often<$1000, so they secretly pocket the difference) . Implements "Hiring Freezes" for months despite many clinics being short staffed, so existing staff has to work 2-3 peoples roles so that the company can save and make more money. Staff getting zero raises for 3-4 years despite the inflationary economy, and despite asking and pleading for even a small raise year over year. Then when the staff finally quits and finds a new job with better wage, then they magically have the money to match that new wage and beg them not the leave, but by then too little too late. Corporate level managers have no clue what orthodontics even is, they keep on hiring management people from vet companies and retailers. Absolutely zero understanding of how orthodontic clinics are run, nor do they even bother to come and see their own operations that they are managing. All decisions are based on the profit and loss spread sheet, find more ways to cut costs at the expense of staff and patients, and overcharge patients. 

Good place to work if you are in between life and want to do something, or if you are good at managing stress and do not take rude remarks seriously. Has amazing benefits package. Poor work environment, and work culture, value profit above all else. You are recommended to give poor customer service, are very pushy with making patients sign same day contracts, once a patient signs a contract no follow ups are made throughout the duration of their treatment. Management just sits in their room calling family members, while hounding employees for having their phone on their body. No training provided, get upset at you when you ask to be trained. Quite rude, you are not allowed to learn from mistakes, instead you are shamed for it. Everyone gossips. They expect you to remember something they told you once weeks ago. Snap quite frequently at staff. Always understaffed. They overwork you immediately. Do not get raises. Hours are cut frequently. Not to mention they push patients to start the same day (tx coordinator gets bonus). They are desperate for $$ and thus sometimes have a desperate demographic that yells at you constantly no matter what. Managers do nothing other than micromanage and report back to head office about it.

The clinic is almost always very busy, making the day's go by quickly! The open concept encourages the team to communicate more openly and developed strong relationships within our clinic. We truly are like a family here. The whole team works together to make everyone's day run smoothly and efficiently. 
- I have learned how to work in an environment that is trusting with limited stress. Our manager is extremely accommodating to our personal obligations. Not to mention our very own in house therapist!! She ALWAYS has an open door, open heart policy! 
- The hardest part of the job is finding time to accommodate last minute cancellations. 
- Most enjoyable part of the job is hard to pin point! Snacks!! We have lots of snacks!! We often are able to eat all together, work effectively to execute our goals without any one person taking on more then the next! 

If you are looking to be overworked, underpaid and undervalued, then this is the company for you!!!  They pretend to care about patients and employees, but only care about the bottom line... $$$. This is reflected in their very high staff turnover rate. Burnout is real in this company as they are constantly understaffed in all areas and hygienists are expected to pick up the slack. In addition, they push patients to start the same day as their consults (note: Tx coordinators get a bonus for this), and the already fully booked hygienists/clinic are the ones who pay the price and are expected to start their Tx on the spot, often working through their lunches or past 5 pm. to do so. I'm a hard worker, but being taken advantage of is not my cup of tea. I value work- life balance, but this doesn't seem to be a priority for this company...unless you're the CEO or an orthodontist. Honestly, do yourself a favor and look for ortho work elsewhere. 

TOXIC WORK ENVIRONMENT. Upper management is a joke. Cutback on hours down to the last minute. Lots of drama and people talking behind your back. It’s almost like working with children, you got to watch what you say to colleagues or they will tattle tail on you. No job raises after working there for a year. The bonus is a joke with all the tax on it. Extremely unstaffed, and upper management knows this but are too cheap to hire more and fix the problem. At the end of the day you are left exhausted and both physically and mentally drained.  You got uniform allowance and had to make a guess what size you are because you have to order online. The sizes ranged and if it didn’t fit you were out of luck and there was no refunds. The only good thing I can say about the job is that it has pretty good hours. And also, free lunches every once in a while. 

Very high turnover rate due to a poorly run office. The company values saving money by not hiring the proper amount of people to cover all areas of the fast-paced dental office, causing staff to get burnt out quick. There was very little to no training provided for people hired with or without experience. This company values money over patient care as seen when treatment coordinators are pressuring patients to start on the same day of their consult just to meet monthly targets for a cash incentive. Environment was unsettling to come into as previous staff members of the retired doctor would talk poorly of the new doctor, new staff members or area manager. This office has gone downhill to the point where work-life balance is no longer a thing. 

Do not waste your time working here. Corporate is the most unorganized, uninformed group of people I have ever encountered in my entire life. Staff at the clinic level are fantastic, but upper management is absolutely incompetent. They throw people into positions with no training and then bully them when they don’t know what they’re doing. If you refuse to accept their “promotions”, you get bamboozled and fired. And it doesn’t stop there! They refuse to answer any emails regarding separation, pay, etc. They will take 2 months to submit your ROE to Service Canada, and then when they finally do, it’s done incorrectly. Work literally anywhere else and you will be treated better. 

This place is going downhill. No one to train you over worked and over booked and expected to see all patients on time when booked an extra column of patients. no help, older staff feels entitled and don’t help with the patients scheduled for them to do and pretend their blind and don’t see them. Rude doctors who treat their staff like garbage and make them look stupid infront of patients. No one cares about you here and no bonuses or fair wage for all the hard work and being overworked. Management is poor.  As well as you don’t get any lunch if you run over by their poor booking. 

Not the best place to work, poor wage, no clear instructions on what to do or how to do it. Management is always in a bad mood and doesn’t care about the mental well being of others, more concerned about pulling money vs over loading the hygienist with work and stressing them out. Wage was low, off Mondays and half days Friday which was nice. Management and higher ups have no idea what they’re actually doing.

The clinical team of hygienists and assistants are amazing to work with.

The companies focus is on making money and bringing in new patients rather than taking care of the patients that they already have. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Direct management and higher level management create a toxic work environment. Management will gossip about you to other employees.
