I found enCompass to be one of the most fun, engaging workplaces I've been in to date. There are a variety of sites in the lower mainland that they work with that will give you a great chance to get on site. There's a solid team that's willing to support you in any of the projects you're involved with and they have great management in place too.

Great work environment on this company

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
It depends were you work. Start with filling FLRA and discuss with foreman about the task.

-Management is very detached from its employees when working in Kitimat. Staff is also very disconnected from each other. Hardly any support in acclimatizing to work place and providing you the tools you need in providing quality service to the client.

If you've worked in the industry for a few years might be a good fit for you. If you're fresh out of school, just starting your career in general,  or are looking for a place to learn - this isn't the place for you.  Your coworkers will be fantastic, although management is deer in headlights.

Working here has been educational and insightful as well as refocused my career path. Industrial electrical work requires the ability to improvise and innovate on a schedule. Things don't always go as planned so one must be able to adapt.

If you like to get out of the office and see the world, this is the place for you. Lots of interesting day-to-day challenges with great people there for support. Their fridge also works and the coffee is alright.

enCompass is fun, young-minded and overall a great place to work. The people truly care about one another. Projects are varied and interesting. You’ll learn a lot with room to grow.

Horrible place to work due to lack of competent leadership.  If you are a young engineer looking to gain experience stay away from this place!  There is no room for career advancement.

Great environment to work.  Lots of opportunity to work and learn new things.   Good benefits and great coworkers. Some site visits required, but usually work from office or options to work from home. 

It is an Ok company to start your career.
Good benefit and high salary, young company with young guys working
But rare opportunity to advanced careers.
