This is a company you come to in order to gain experience and then move on to something else.  This is a family run business and they are not known for following ESA or Health & Safety Standards. 
There are a lot of biases due to the nature of the ownership and conflicts arise between staff and management or staff and employed family members that are never resolved in a fair manner. Family wins every time regardless of the situation.  There is a recruiting department however there is no Human Resources department so there is no one for staff to turn to for help. 

Conflicting directives are given to staff as management does not seem to discuss new policies and/or procedures.  

Changes can happen on a whim. 

Company has potential but needs an overhaul on management.

Staff at this company no longer respect their leaders.

Know what you are getting into.  
Go there with the mindset that you are just going for the experience.  Be forewarned that the job you are hired for is not the job you will likely be doing - they will add unrelated tasks and change tasks on a whim.  e.g. Admin and account management staff are expected to perform shipping and production duties however this task is not included as a task on your job description.

 In an industry where video surveillance manufacturers are large corporate entities where you're another number, i3 is a breath of fresh air. The culture at i3 is tremendously warming and makes you feel at home as if you're a family. Your opinions and, most importantly, you matter. 

I can't say enough good things about the management group. Each has helped shape me as a human or propel my career forward in some shape or form. They're all valuable mentors that stay in touch with me, even once my time at i3 was over.

In addition to the fantastic people who work there, they're leading edge when it comes to technological advancements with incredibly fair pricing - making it pretty easy to win big deals on the sales side. 

What can I say about this company. You get what you put in to your work. It's a cliché but it's the most honest statement. 
The company culture is team based and there exciting and encouraging educational meetings for new projects and company goals. You really feel a part of the company. The CEO and upper management/directors and VPs are available and talk to everyone with respect. 
If you want to work in an environment where your autonomy is respected, providing you complete your assignments, then this is the place. Grace is exceptionally kind and her door is open for anyone to drop in and have some coffee talk. 

I appreciate what the company did for me for the time I was there. Enjoy your job and you'll stay happy. 

everyone is treated like family.  it is truly a family run business despite having 125+ employees.
It is fun to go in to work and not being just another number.

Sometimes there are personal stuff happening at home where you might need time off.  The company is very understanding and works with you to ensure you take all the time off you need.  They truly understand the meaning of work life balance and ensure you have everything you need to take care of your personal affairs.

If you are loyal to the company, they return the favour 10 times over.

The Culture of the workplace is welcoming and friendly. You work hard and...you want to. This shows major influence to the employees.

Vy Hoang is probably the best salesman and EVP one could meet in this industry. While he keeps out of the politics, this man works very hard. 
The VP of people and Operations is Exceptional. Truly. She is the glue that binds the company together. She rocks!

If you want to learn about BI, truly and what hardware and software has to do with it, this is the place to apply.

This is a family own business but the environment is so toxic, they treat employees like dirt. The managers make rude racist remarks like do you eat dog in your country? They have a tradition of doing a roast for new employees where they ask personal inappropriate questions like how many kids do you have? are you married? do you have a girlfriend? How many siblings do you have? How long have you been in Canada? All in front of all the employees. They also have cameras everywhere, spying on their employees. So many people have left this company. Worst place ever.

i3 is moving ahead with multiple ongoing exciting and disruptive projects. 
With the support of management and coworkers, I've had a tremendous learning curve over the previous 12 months. 
If you want substance in your job, to have your efforts recognized, and to be a part of making a difference, this is the company for you.

Long standing family run company.  But like most families in real life, there is dysfunction.  Some people are good, most people are ok, and there are some black sheeps.

Management doesn't see the dysfunction.  Nepotism is rampant.  If they are related (to the boss), and need a job (even though they are not qualified), they will be working there.

Work's work, the product is standard.

To do all aspects of supply chain management working with vendors and manufacturers, analyze product demands and sales, analyze stock, trends. Execute purchase orders. Track and expedite existing orders.
Work closely and provide inputs with different departments within company like accounting, sales, production, customer care, technical support.

If you are related to the boss or upper management, you'll be hired and retained even if you aren't qualified or have any skills.  

There is a passive aggressive culture that almost makes it a toxic environment.  Some of the other staff are great and are hard workers, but unless you suck up to management, you won't be given credit or bonuses, or even be let go.
