On a typical work day I would come in for my shift about 15-20 minutes early to catch up with the other receptionist on what has happened that day and what needs to be done. After she leaves, I answer phone calls and help direct customers to appropriate departments or persons. For the rest of the evening I would stock in traded in vehicles, new vehicles from Honda Canada, and other new vehicles in from other dealerships both on paper and in CTWizard program on the computer. I would also make and prepare folders for incoming vehicles.  If there is enough time I would also attach customer details onto sold cars in CDK to ensure optimal customer service.
The hardest part of the job is to ensure that the information on the vehicles was correct both in the Garage Book and in the computer program. Ex. VIN number, model code, ect.
The most enjoyable part of the job is interacting with customers and being able to help them find their way around the dealersip.  The other employees also make coming to work a lot easier by being so friendly and open to help when its needed.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Good location; high volume dealership.  Customers are loyal to the Brand

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Long hrs some days 13 hrs no breaks management will purchase lunches at like 2-3 pm to keep you at the desk.  Managers will leave early while you’ve had no breaks and are at the desk long pass your shift.  Unhealthy Work atmosphere.  

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Country club; social club did better with no Service Manager or operations Manager.  

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Level 10 Stress.  Management looks the other way.  No meetings or discussion on improvements.

The managers are mostly good, the GM is an amazing boss. The only real downside to my time at Honda were the demanding, self important, entitled salespeople, two of whom were more guilty of ridiculous daily requests than the others. Fun environment to be a part of however, lots of joking around and having fun while working.

If you're someone who works hard, you'll fit in here. Only issue is that for some there seems to be a not my job attitude and it can slow things down a bit. Also some people have an issue with reliably showing up which can put an extra load on everyone else. Overall with the people I worked with everyone's friendly but there are a few that can be a little bit of a pain to work with.

Overworked and underpaid. Management is extremely unprofessional. They favour a handful of employees and if you aren't one of them, then good luck. Free lunch on Saturday but you get no break and barely get to eat.

The best part of working at Pickering Honda was that it was so close to home so i could get enough rest to go to work every morning. hardest part of the job was lifting heavy machinery up and down stairs. i leaned a lot about car parts and cars in general working at Honda.

Looking for a good laugh work here! Management doesn’t care you’re just a number unless you a “really” close to them and climb up the ranks. They don’t care about seniority or actual work ethic they will look after the ones that do them “favours”. 

If you're a 20 plus a month guy youll do great here, very nice management other then one person and very helpful coworkers, it is competition here so dont sleep on your customers and youll get by.

people are great and everybody gets along, but some days get hectic and its hard to advance if you are at the bottom since there are so many apprentices and not enough bays.
