Pros:
-Amazing company to work with
-Bonus based on performance
-Free lunch every 2nd Wednesday, bagels and beer on Fridays
-Shifts can be traded with other agents
-Office is steps away from the station
-Company is generous with extra days off during holidays
-Socials with lots of free food(caters to different diets)
-HR and upper management are very approachable and supportive
-Coworkers in the CS department and other departments are very friendly and willing to help each other
-Just as long as you are delivering results, then management will not babysit you and constantly watch over you
-Company allows you to breath and work at your own pace
-Stable company with a long history
-Free coffee, tea, and juice daily
-Team Leads are amazing to work with, helpful and have your best interest in mind

Cons:
-Rotating schedules(some shifts end late at night, but no overnights)
-Call centre jobs are not really jobs that you can do long term, so the cons of the job really have more to do with the call centre/customer service industry, rather than the company itself
-You will have to be okay viewing explicit material
-Not many people stay long term, unless they are transferred to another department
-From what I heard, the salary has remained the same since many few years ago, even though the minimum wage and everything else has gone up


This position is perfect for somebody that wants to get some experience or thinking of using it as a vehicle to advance to other positions. If this is your plan, I recommend discussing this with them during your interview, to see if it is feasible plan.

Being laid off by a company plagued with poor senior leadership and ill-fated financial decisions was a disheartening and frustrating experience. Witnessing the executives' inability to make sound choices and navigate the organization towards stability was deeply unsettling. It became evident that their lack of vision and strategic planning led to significant setbacks and financial hardships. As an employee, the constant uncertainty surrounding the company's future weighed heavily, affecting morale and productivity. Ultimately, the consequences of their mismanagement trickled down to the workforce, resulting in layoffs that left many of us grappling with an uncertain future. The unfortunate reality was that those at the top failed to take responsibility for their actions, leaving loyal and hardworking employees to bear the brunt of their mistakes.

I really enjoy the challenging work environment at ruby. It's a global SaaS, Agile development technology company. Great team environment, they promote continuous learning and support career development. Paid day this Friday for everyone to have fun at Cabana (third year)!

Ruby Life is a great place to work. Bagel Friday, which starts as early as 8am; Beer Friday from 4pm; and free launch every two weeks on Wednesday. Coupled with different brands of teas and coffees in the two kitchens. The workers are friendly, management is great and environment is clean and none toxic. Ruby pays well as well. The cons, well,... I don't know....

Micromanagement happening all the time.
No working life balance at all. 
Team members don't have any respect for business hours.
Managers rude, have no idea how to distribute tasks.
No training, just ton of documents that you are expected to read and implement in 5 days from entering in the company.


Manager likes playing favorites, team leads liked a lot kiss assing. They promote if they like you not because of your merits. Waste of 4 years of my life

I have worked for Ruby Corp for five years the overall culture is okay, there are no advancements in the company. It has a good work, private life balance and the people working there are all friendly.

If you value working with incredible people while utilizing your gifts and talents on a daily basis, ruby is the company for you. Also, career development opportunities are a true reality here.

Ruby offers extensive opportunity to excell and allows employees to work on the cutting edge technologies.  Management puts in a lot of effort to keep the team happy.

No clear management. Also decisions changes every minute.
