Full Time Position in centrally located near Regina, Weyburn and Moose Jaw on a farm offering care for a senior couple!

Do you love the scenery of rural settings? Are you looking for a full time position helping a family with their day to day routine? This family needs you!

We are looking for a Full time live in nanny/housekeeper/garden keeper to assist the “lady of the house” with daily responsibilities in and outside of the home . If you enjoy quiet rural setting, and enjoy spending time with “sound minded seniors”, while being eager to roll your sleeves up and assist to care for the home, meals, and yard on a daily basis, we are the family and home for you.

Casual Dress Code

Requirements:

Must speak VERY clear English
Must be non-smoking and be an abstainer from alcohol and legal and/or illegal drugs
Must have a clean criminal record with no history or abuse or theft
Kind, patient, loving, trustworthy, caring and a positive person
Punctual
Open and honest communication to ensure developing a mutually trusting relationship
Good personal hygiene, and able bodied
Experience caring for, and interacting with seniors
1-2 years of previous “live in” caregiving experience
Willing to provide references from past employers
Open to 8-10 hour day schedules, five to six days a week
Valid Drivers license and a vehicle to use to get to and from place of work.
Like animals, small dogs specifically

Primary Responsibilities:

Meal prep twice daily using “seniors’ tested and true recipes” for lunch and supper
Organizing and keeping the house clean on a daily basis, deep cleaning on a weekly basis
Helping with daily household duties, making the beds, doing dishes, laundry, taking out the garbage etc.
Manage household food and supplies inventory and provide/shop for on an “as and when” needed basis
Gardening, which includes planting, keeping plants watered, weeded, groomed, picking produce and processing for consumption or storage
Providing physical assistance to the “lady of the house” as and when needed, such as taking things up and down the stairs, lifting objects heavy for her etc.
Active and willing to engage in activities, games, crafting, attending craft fairs, events etc. with the “lady of the house.”
Take “lady of the house” to appointments in various communities, for things like Dr appointments, shopping, hair and manicure appointments
Eligible to work in Canada [Must be present in Canada]

Job Type:

· Full-time, Permanent

· Salary, Negotiable based on skills and experience

Schedule:

8 to 10 hour shifts
Monday to Friday (Flexibility given, could also be 6 days a week)
