Social Media Program Specialist

We are currently looking to fill the Social Media Program Specialist position at Georgia Main Food Group Limited and its banners: Fresh St. Market and IGA. With a deep understanding of social media platforms and embracing inspirational digital trends, the successful candidate will be passionate about building and growing online communities through brand-led content and discussions.
Who You Are
You will play a key role within our marketing team designed to support our portfolio of brands – Fresh St. Market and IGA, and have the proven ability to write copy, develop video contents and engage with communities through various different brand lenses, ensuring that each brand is brought to life authentically through their unique tone of voice.
For us, the ideal candidate is known for driving results through carefully curated innovative and timely content. You know how to track and analyze data against KPIs and turn insights into action. You work closely with internal teams to source and generate content. You excel in a fast-paced environment, managing deadlines and deliverables and working with a variety of stakeholders to get projects over the line.
Duties and Responsibilities
Social Media Management & Content Creation
- Develop and implement content planning and ideation for various social media channels across our portfolio of brands that aligns with the brand identity and business objectives.
- Develop an annual social media strategy and content calendar.
- Put in place a community management tools to schedule and post content and monitor results.
- Expert at writing copy, ideating, editing and producing videos for various social media platforms and developing curate user-generated content.
- Ensure consistency in brand messaging and tone across all social media channels.
- Establish relationships with social media influencers to develop a strong network.
- Ability to travel regularly to multiple stores, both local and out of town
- Flexibility to adjust work schedule to attend and participate in various campaigns that may happen after office hours, statutory holidays, and/or weekends as needed
Performance Analysis and Reporting
- Track and analyze key social media metrics, such as engagement rates, reach, conversion rates, and follower growth.
- Generate regular reports to showcase social media performance and provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Adjust strategies based on data-driven insights to optimize content and campaign effectiveness.
- Develop clear and concise reports on progress against KPIs.
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Support
- Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to align social media efforts with broader marketing initiatives.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to drive innovation and growth.
- Collaborate with our internal and external partners to create and capture social media content.
Required Skills, Experience, and Education:
- 5+ years of experience in a marketing role with 4+ years of experience creating and executing social media strategies and campaigns.
- Undergraduate degree in Marketing/Communications or related field.
- Strong understanding of all social media channels and how best to leverage them.
- Expert copywriter.
- You are comfortable and at ease being the face of our social media channels on screen.
- Data-driven with experience navigating social media analytics to pull campaign insights and identify optimization opportunities.
- Track record of achieving ambitious targets.
- Highly collaborative, able to work closely with internal stakeholders to drive effective initiatives.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- High self-initiative with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

The Fine Print:
Upon hire, new employees will be placed in a starting salary between the minimum and P50 (midpoint) of the salary range. The P50 of the range represents an employee that possesses full job knowledge, qualifications, and experience for the position. In some circumstances, the new employee may be eligible for compensation beyond the P50 of the salary range. Factors that influence this decision include full job knowledge, qualifications, internal equity, and experience in a similar role.
