We are seeking positive individuals to become Pastry Cooks at a busy award-winning Café in downtown Vancouver. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment and alongside passionate people, we want to hear from you. Specifically, we are looking for full- and part-time applicants. The ability to work rotating weekends is essential. Enjoy flexibility as shifts are scheduled from 5:30am to 2:00pm Monday to Friday or 3:30am to 12pm Monday to Friday.
We deliver high-quality products, and our Pastry Cooks must display a top-notch level of service and delivery of quality to match. You will be working with a team of 6 to 8 like-minded people to assemble pastries for multiple locations across the downtown core. A team driven personality and desire to learn will be essential to your success. Therefore this is a great opportunity for someone right out of pastry or cooking school, or someone who is looking to transfer their pastry/cooking skills to a fun, team-driven environment.
The following skills would be ideal:
- Restaurant or bakery experience
- A formal pastry and/or cooking education
- Food Safe or Serving-it Right Certificate
- Competitive hourly wage based on experience $14 - $17/hour
