System Administrator, Group Insurance
Montreal City Centre
This is a regular full-time position. The incumbent will report to the Associate Manager, Group Administration. Group Administration has a recognition program which includes, among other things, the possibility of a flexible work schedule and the opportunity to work at home occasionally, once eligibility conditions are met.
The System Administrator is in charge of coding and maintaining group benefit plans in the various administrative systems, while meeting or exceeding departmental service and quality performance standards.
The incumbent will enjoy working in an increasingly computerized environment, in collaboration with a large number of partners and with the aim of providing our clients with a fast and first-rate service.
- College or high school diploma, combined with relevant work experience
- Fluency in French and English, in verbal and written communication
- Comfortable with computer systems and good typing speed
- Strong analytical skills
- Ease in embracing change
- Strong ability for precision work
- Collaborative spirit, while being very independent
- Priority management skills
- Comfortable with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with Excel
You must successfully complete one of the following classes part of the Group Insurance and Annuities Certificate at Université Laval (distance education) within six months of your date of employment: Principes fondamentaux des régimes d’assurance collective (ASR 1110) or Application des régimes d’assurance collective (ASR 2110).
