. Current BCLS
. Minimum 2 years' experience working with SA/DV clients
. Demonstrated skill and experience in physical assessment
. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), listening and teaching skills
. Demonstrated knowledge and application of crisis intervention skills and use of sound, independent clinical judgement
. Sensitivity to and demonstrated understanding of the issues sexual assault and domestic violence clients will encounter and reactions they may experience
. Ability to advocate for clients and effective liaison with community professionals is desirable, i.e. police, shelters, etc
. Demonstrated effectiveness as a multidisciplinary team player
. Able to work independently,
. Available for the on call team
. Demonstrates values consistent with TSH's Code of Conduct and is committed to fostering a healthy and positive work environment in accordance with Health & Safety policy and legislation.
. Utilize protective equipment provided and identify and reports hazards
