Reporting to the Team Leader, SIS Development, you’ll be tasked with enhancing existing applications, troubleshooting, fixing bugs, creating web parts, and providing estimates for assigned work, while promoting and ensuring adherence to departmental standards for all phases of design and development. Your knowledge of both current and emerging technologies, as well as trends and direction in this field, will serve you well as a Programmer Analyst involved in analysing and proposing recommended solutions, analysing and estimating feasibility, time and compatibility with other programs, and ultimately ensuring that expected application performance levels are achieved.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with Oracle Forms and Reports
- Demonstrated initiative and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills to deal effectively with Board personnel
- Demonstrated commitment to working in a diverse school community and/or work environment.
Experience with the following would be an asset:
- SIS software
- Oracle Forms and Reports, PL/SQL Developer, Linux, Advanced Crystal Reports, TOAD
- database design.
